The Real Housewives Of New Jersey Season 4

By Jessica Blackwell

Melissa decided that after her Beatstock performance, she wanted to try and further her career. She was excited about the possibility of getting a record deal, but Joe wouldn't hear of it. He wanted her to remain an independent artist so that he could handle her career. Translation: he wants to have complete control.

Lauren and Caroline continued to shop for locations for their joint business venture, Caface. Ironically the same place that Lauren first attempted to launch her cosmetic career was for sale, so they thought about buying the space since it's in the center of town and therefore a great location for a business.

Since Jacqueline is a licensed cosmetologist, she was helping Lauren shop for products to use in her store. Since Jacqueline has the knowledge to back up the business, it was a smart move to include her.

Teresa decided to take a cue from Bethany Frankel and try to further her "brand" with a signature line of drinks. She wanted the drink to be healthier than your average drink, but not to taste "diety" like Skinny Girl. Since her favorite cocktail is a Bellini, she's trying to come up with her own version of it called the Fabu-lini.

For some reason, Joe Giudice accompanied her to Brotherhood Winery to hash out some tastes for the drink. Boy was she kicking herself after that meeting. He decided that he knew better than her about everything, although this was her area of expertise and he embarrassed the living daylights out of her. Admitting to being an alcoholic was probably the most mild mannered thing he said the entire meeting. Episode after episode, I wonder, where did she find this guy?

Caroline summed it up perfectly. Her theory is that Teresa's greed for the finer things in life caused Joe to make bad business decisions, and now he resents her for it. Maybe I should cut the guy some slack, because in his defense, he did seem like a better husband in the early seasons.

Kathy attended Teresa's latest book signing and she noticed that Teresa included some of her mother's in her cookbook. It's not yet a full blown feud, but cousins who without a doubt have overlapping family recipes, and are both trying to make it in the culinary world, this can't be good a good situation.

Kathy had her dessert tasting at Gelati's in her old neighborhood and she invited everyone. Teresa brought along a new friend named Linda, who has future housewife written all over her. Of course Teresa had to be catty and talk about Kathy's signs, comparing them to her daughter's lemonade stand signs.

With all the drama going own between Teresa and well, everyone, the husbands decided to meet to hash out the details of the trip to Napa and to try and keep the peace. Since they're men they can sit down and talk without emotion right? WRONG! Shots fired by the men of New Jersey. Joe basically called Jacqueline stupid, (with her husband present!) for believing tabloids. Joe Gorga asked Joe Giudice what his problem was with him, and the best thing he could come up with was that he didn't return borrowed tools. Really Juicy Joe? The situation is that petty? Juicy also felt he had to remind Joe Gorga that he taught him how to flip houses and then the real situation came into focus. Maybe Joe is just upset that his student became the teacher and is doing better than him.

Next week is the Napa trip. Drama and an RV should make for a good episode!
