This episode of The Real World: St. Thomas should be named "The Most Ridiculous Prank That Never Ended and Went Too Far". While walking on the beach, Marie and LaToya encounter a dead, smelly fish and Marie decides it would be hilarious to put it in the Swift and Robb's bathtub. LaToya does not seem to be on board, mostly because she doesn't want a fish disease. Whatever that means. It's not long though before Marie's powers of persuasion convince LaToya to get on board.

When Robb and Swift awaken to the stench, Marie blames it on Laura, saying she's the only one who would ever pick up a dead fish. The guys buy the story, since earlier, she was running around the island with a giant iguana, completely unphased by the fact that it was trying to bite her and slap her with its tail. The guys respond by trying to put the fish in her kayak, so the girls throw the fish in the ocean, bag and all. Screw you, environment. We're in the middle of a prank war!

Swift jumps in the water for reasons I still don't understand and lands on a sea urchin. To make matters worse, LaToya tries getting the fish with an oar but keeps pushing him into the water, and he's no longer amused and in a world of pain. Robb carries him over his shoulder (Swift's hero!) back to the house and their boat driver takes a look at his foot, determining that he needs to either have someone pee on it or head to the doctor for a closer look. Off to the doctor we go!! But not before drinking an entire bottle of rum.

On the way there, Swift yells over and over at LaToya for causing his injury. Nobody told him to jump into the water, and certainly not without protective shoes. How is this her fault again? When they arrive on the main island, LaToya decides to skip the doctor's visit but she ended up missing the hilarious encounters between a very drunk Brandon, the doctor, and the women at the front desk. Long story short - he's going to be fine. He needs to just walk it off.

Back at the house, Brandon and LaToya attempt to talk it out but just get into another shouting match. The problem with these two is that they're cut out of the same mold. Fighting with one another is like fighting with themselves.

Marie, the culprit behind all of this madness, then convinces Brandon that he actually was the one to put the fish in the tub after a night of too much partying. Brandon buys it hook, line, and sinker. Part of wonders what will happen when everyone finds out it was actually Marie the entire time... and the other part of me just wants to move on!
