This week on The Real Housewives of Orange County, Slade and Gretchen perform at the Improv and Tamra has a serious talk with Eddie.

 

Tamra went over to Vicki’s house and they finally talked about her new friendship with Gretchen. Vicki isn’t exactly thrilled that they’re friends now and she thinks Tamra is kissing her butt too much. After that lovely conversation Tamra showed Vicki the stuff she bought her at the sex shop the other day. It’s hilarious to see Vicki’s reaction to anything sex related. She always freaks out and gets really uncomfortable. 

 

In order to prepare for his stand up comedy routine, Slade asked his mom to be his warm up audience. Was it good? Well, let’s just say his mom didn’t laugh…once. In fact, she made a point of saying the dogs are more entertaining. Things only got worse when he told his mom he wants to propose to Gretchen to show her she is more than just a girlfriend and his mom told him not to propose. Yikes! I mean does he really think that’s the best idea considering he still has trouble paying child support? 

 

Slade showed Gretchen that he wanted to add some embarrassing photos of the women from the media to his stand up act. Gretchen got pretty upset because when the women find out about it, they definitely wouldn’t be happy about it. She kindly asked him to remove that part from his routine. 

 

Finally the night at the Improv came. Alexis and Heather were both there with their husbands to support Gretchen. Poor Gretchen thought she was just going to be a host and later found out she had to actually do a comedy routine. She didn’t exactly blow the crowd away with her jokes, but she did strip down to her bathing suit, which I don’t doubt blew away every man in that audience. 

 

Tamra and Eddie have been talking a lot lately about moving in together as the next step to their relationship. Tamra still has some worries because her divorce still isn’t final and she is afraid of how her children may react to her living with a man other than their dad. She is so lucky that she has Eddie. He is the most supportive and loving man I have ever seen. No matter how much he loves her and wants to have children with her, he is willing to wait until when she is ready for it, if she ever is ready for it. 

 

At the Improv you could hear crickets almost the entire way through Slade’s routine. He tried doing this whole “housewife hunter” bit and it just really wasn’t funny at all. The audience wasn’t impressed at this point and he just about lost them altogether, along with his own girlfriend, when he chose to keep the bit with Vicki and Tamra. He pulled up horrible press photos of the women and even compared Tamra to Miss Piggy. Gretchen was really pissed when she saw him doing the routine. Needless to say, the car ride home wasn’t very pleasant. Gretchen yelled at Slade for doing the bit, but he doesn’t think he did anything wrong. Agree to disagree?
