We have 10 more spots to fill tonight on American Idol and we have one cliffhanger to finish...and a shocking twist at the end that will change everything!

 

We left off with Adam Brock...will he or won't he be moving on? It's a yes and he will be joining the Top 24!

 

Jeremy Rosado: kept with the same group during Hollywood Week, held on for an amazing note on his final performance, always cheered everyone on during their performance, nice kid...in Top 24.

 

Shannon Magrane: 16 years old, forgot lyrics on group day, made amends during solo performance, Steven said she was hot, humid and happenin'...in Top 24.

 

Scott Dangerfield: auditioned last year and made it to Hollywood but had to pull out of the competition, one of Jennifer's favorites...did not make it.

 

Skylar Laine: country girl, scared because Chelsea (a country singer also) made it, final performance not up to her standards, Randy said she's been very consistent since day one...in Top 24.

 

Hallie Day: early judge favorite...in Top 24.

 

Chase Likens: country critter...in Top 24.

 

Aaron Marcellus: returning contestant from last year, Jennifer fought for him last year and did again this year, but this year she won...in Top 24.

 

Deandre Brackensick: returning contestant, got sent home on Judgment Day, proved himself while in Las Vegas, Jennifer said they could see his confidence and voice has grown...in Top 24.

 

Jermaine Jones: his Mom is his biggest supporter and has been at his side the whole time, deep baritone voice, has a breakdown while waiting, Randy said he had a bunch of up and down performances since initial audition and has a voice that needs some more work...did not make it.

 

We are down to one spot for the girls and one spot for the boys left. The girls go first and the final three left are Hollie Cavanagh, Shelby Tweten and Ariel Sprague. Hollie is in Top 24 and Shelby and Ariel will be going home to maybe try out again next year.

 

For the boys, we are down to the two youngest contestants in the competition: David Leathers, Jr. and Eben Franckewitz. Will it be David, the ladies' man, or Eben, the quiet guy with angelic voice? Eben is in the Top 24 and David will be going home.

 

And the twist: the judges felt the need to add a 13th guy into the competition and have a Top 13 for the guys. It will be either David Leathers, Jr., Richie Law, Johnny Keyser or Jermaine Jones...we will find out live on Tuesday! And to end the show Steven strips to his underwear and jumps in the water...my eyes are still burning from that site.

 

American Idol goes live next week when it airs on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 8/7c on FOX.
