So You Think You Can Dance: Top 10

by Gina Scarpa

Tonight is a very telling night on So You Think You Can Dance. Which individual dancers are America really behind? Have some contestants floated their way to this point thanks to stronger parters? Who are the favorites, the frontrunners? Only time will tell...

We start with a Broadway routine by the Top 10 and then, the first three dancers hit the stage to find out their results. Mitchell is in the bottom, while Tadd and Melanie are both safe - obviously! Next, Marko and Sasha find out that they're safe, but Clarice will have to dance for her life. She's joined by Ricky and Jordan, who looks absolutely devastated by the results. Caitlynn and Jes, on the other hand, will definitely be dancing another week.

After a performance by ABT soloist Daniil Simkin, it's time for the solos. Clarice came alive with energy during her performance, Mitchell danced with a scarf, Jordan softened it up but still gaves us the power she's known for, and Ricky threw every trick he had into his solo.

While the judges deliberate - wait, what? The judges are still deciding who goes home? At Top 10, I thought America was supposed to decide. Okay... so while the judges deliberate, Snoop Dogg came on stage for 0.2 seconds then left to let girl group Blush take the stage. The worst part about that song was that I was caught up on my DVR and couldn't fast forward.

Now, as Cat would say, "it's time to get down to business". The judges are unanimous and have nothing bad to say about any of the four dancers. Tonight, Mitchell and Clarice leave the competition.  Was it the right decision?

Be sure to tune in when the Top 8 take the stage on So You Think You Can Dance, Wednesday at 8/7c on FOX.
