The Biggest Loser 11

Last night on The Biggest Loser, we finally got a deeper look into the mysterious, unknown ranch after two very long weeks with Bob and Jillian's crew. Of course, that meant we finally got to meet the trainers who were whipping the five immune teams into shape.

And, surprise, surprise NBC, we get to the trainers right away. Since when do we like to move along The Biggest Loser at a quick rate?

The first trainer is Cara, a boxer and a Golden Gloves winner. She's fierce, she's loud and she wants to bring out the "fighter" in the contestants. Oh, and she had to point out that she doesn't have her own line of DVDs. Zing!

The male trainer is Brett, a martial artists who also has a background in human performance. A quick Google search brings up several reviews that name him one of the best life coaches and best personal trainers in the country. He was also overweight as a child (see: Jillian Michaels), so he's here to kick ass and take names.

Now that we know who they are, I really don't blame these five teams for going with the unknown trainers. In fact, Brett sounds like a completely awesome guy to work with, and it's really no wonder the five teams have been having such good luck.

Interestingly enough, we cut to the unknown team after they found out they lost to Bob and Jillian's posse. You would have thought Rulon and Justin, being the top weight-losers, would be sympathetic to everyone else, but no! Instead, they're the team to hate this season, which is quite sad, considering how inspirational Rulon was.

Even more dramatic: the teams are separated at the challenge by a huge divider, so neither can see what's going on. Everyone is given a frying pan and an egg, which they have to balance on said frying pan. Last person to drop the egg on each team wins a lunch with Curtis stone and a chance at an advantage at the weigh-in.

Almost immediately, everyone on the unknown team gives the win to Denise, which the Bob/Jillian crew fight for it. After a while, Marci wins out over her other ranchmates.

After that, it was a wake up call for the unknown team, as they got to meet with Dr. Huizenga for the first time. Even though they've been with the program for three weeks, there's still grim news for them to hear, including Moses who is slated to die in the next 14 years if he doesn't keep going.

Cara and Brett are no joke and are just as hands-on, if not more, than Bob and Jillian. They have their team in the ring, fighting them, motivating them that way. According to Cara, the best way to fight obesity is to learn how to physically fight, too.

Marci and Denise get their lunch with Curtis Stone, as well as a little challenge of their own. He shows them how to make a meal, and then they have to guess how many calories are in it. Denise wins the challenge as well as a two-pound advantage at a weigh-in.

Even though we met the unknown team this week, it's still time for a ranch person to go home, which means a challenge for the 5 teams plus Irene. Each team has to dump water into a carrier, which they then have to haul of a hill 1/8th a mile long. The winner earns the right to be the sole vote at that night's elimination if they can stay above the yellow line.

The challenge is over even before is starts, as everyone agrees to give Irene the win. At the last chance workout, Arthur gets homesick and Dan gets called out for sabotaging himself, causing Bob and Jillian to bear down on both of them. The weigh-in results were as follows:

Green Team
Jay: -14
Jennifer: -8
Total: -22 (-3.58%)

Orange Team
Irene: -8 (-3.45%)

Aqua Team
Marci: -7
Courtney: -10
Total: -17 (-3.29%)

Purple Team
Olivia: -6
Hannah: -6
Total: -12 (-2.58%)

Blue Team
Jesse: -9
Arthur: -4
Total: -13 (-1.75%)

Black Team
Dan: +9
Don: +9
Total: +18 (+3.31%)

It wasn't even close, and neither Bob nor Jillian had words for Dan and Don. Bob eventually came to and blamed them for sabotaging themselves, especially Dan, as well as for throwing their weigh-in. Dan insisted that he didn't, but he asked Irene to send him home, which she did.

Now at home, Dan has lost 72 pounds and is trying to lead a healthier and more active lifestyle.
