Tonight, on Survivor: Nicaragua, the contestants are thrown for a complete and total loop when Probst shocks them with the news that the tribes are going to be switched up. Everyone draws rocks to determine team captains and the lucky two are Brenda and Holly. Brenda chooses 3 members of Espada to bring to her tribe while Holly chooses 4 members of La Flor to bring to hers. Brenda loses her entire alliance, when Holly takes Chase and NaOnka from her.

 

The new tribes are:
La Flor - Brenda, Fabio, Kelly B, Kelly Purple, Sash, Marty, Jane, and Jill
Espada - Holly, Tyrone, Dan, Yve, Alina, Benry, Chase, and NaOnka

 

The best part... no more Medallion of Power! Cue the heavenly music!

 

Immediately, it's time for a reward challenge. Players have to throw a ball onto a course that looks like a giant Plinko board and have their teammates catch it at the bottom. If a player drops the ball, the other team gets a point. With 3 points (thanks to Marty's butterfingers), Espada heads back to camp with two chickens and a rooster.

 

Well, hell has frozen over. NaOnka and Alina appear to be working together now thanks to an invitation from Holly to join forces. Tyrone seems to think some flirting might take place between himself and the younger girls. Really? Bit creepy there, buddy. Things at La Flor seem to be going well for the three older members... until Marty reveals that he has an idol. Ahh, the Russell Hantz method. Ballsy. But balls never won Russell a million bucks.

 

Back at Espada, NaOnka starts to mentally break down due to the harsh weather conditions. It's amazing how someone can be such a bully and then cry hysterically over some rain. Benry and Alina step in to try to provide comfort and encouragement and keep her in the game.

 

She makes it through the night without quitting and heads out with her tribe the next day for the Immunity Challenge. Three members of a tribe will be strapped to a wheel that will temporarily go underwater when they're upside down. While underwater, they have to take in a mouth full of water and spit it into a tube. When the tube is filled up, a ball drops which two members must use to break tiles in order to win.

 

Unlikely heroes Jane and Fabio break their five tiles, giving La Flor the win!

 

Back at Espada, the hungry tribe decides to delve right in to one of the chickens, against Tyrone's wishes. However, the guy had no problem eating more than everyone else once that chicken was cooked. Though it came down to him and NaOnka at tribal council, Espada decided that they just couldn't deal with his bossy ways and voted him out.

 

Survivor: Nicaragua airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on CBS.
