The Real Housewives of New Jersey had a little break from the madness tonight as we got to watch some entertaining events. Danielle’s daughter Christine celebrates her Sweet 16.  Teresa and Joe celebrate their 10th Anniversary. 

 

It all begins with Teresa hinting to Joe that she wants a big fat diamond ring for her anniversary. Joe seems just a tad stressed out with this request. Money “isn’t flowing like it used to”  he admits to Chris Laurita. In the end, Joe takes Teresa on a helicopter ride to Jersey City where they have dinner in a hotel and he presents her with a giant yellow diamond ring. I guess money isn't that tight for them? It leaves you wondering what exactly Joe got for their 10th Anniversary from Teresa as they never touch on what she gave her husband…

 

Danielle throws a lovely Sweet 16 for Christine. Daughter Jillian is nervous because she will be singing at the party. Danielle doesn’t tell her that more than 300 people will be at the party; because she knows it will freak her out.  Christine looks gorgeous at her party, and the girl’s father attends which means a lot to all of them. Jillian pulls off the song wonderfully. Danielle is surprisingly gracious with her ex-husband and his new wife, but she just *can’t * quite leave a dig out, and so insists on wearing her wedding ring, on her right hand as a cocktail ring.  She claims it is because she thinks it is gorgeous (it is!) and should be worn. But doesn’t she have 364 OTHER days she could wear it, instead? She even says she hasn’t worn it for a year and a half. It couldn’t wait a day? 

 

Jacqueline shares her Kim G experience with Caroline who thinks it is a mixed bag. Maybe Kim G turned on Jacqueline as a friend, but she also turned on Danielle too. Like Caroline says, I wouldn’t want to be around when Danielle figures that one out! Later, Jacqueline and Ashley are in the car, when Ashley goes to pick up her certified mail which is a summons for her “hair pull” incident.  Jacqueline seems to want to "talk it out" with Ashley. Ashley says she is remorseful but she really, just plain, isn’t. She laughs it off, says she is excited for court, and says she should counter sue Danielle. Jacqueline and Chris are super annoyed with Ashley, but what good does that do? They are always super annoyed with Ashley; it’s not even fun to watch. I just can't even believe that they are "talking it out"! This kid needs to move out and grow up! Jacqueline and Chris treat her like Ashley is 12, she is 19. Let her face her own consequences since she is an adult.

 

Albie joins the police academy while he is waiting to be accepted into law school and gets a buzz cut. That is the big Manzo drama for the week.

 

Next week, there will be a big blow out between Danielle and Kim G…
