Jamie Bisoulis from Hell's Kitchen Season 7

This week, on Hell's Kitchen, Jamie stumbled on the meat station, serving overcooked food and getting yelled at for it. When her team lost the dinner service challenge, she was put up for elimination alongside Fran, but she was the one who was asked to take her jacket off and head home. Today, Jamie spoke to RealityWanted in an exclusive interview about her appreciation for Chef Ramsay, her take on Autumn, and which chefs have impressed her the most.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What made you want to try out for Hell's Kitchen?
A. Jamie: I think with Chef Ramsay, I needed to learn something from him. I needed to learn something from a 3 star Michelin chef. It was rewarding because I grew a lot from him.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Was Chef Ramsay everything you expected, based on what you have seen on tv?
A. Jamie: I think what you see in Hell's Kitchen, when we're having a reward and how nice he is, that's how he always is. In the kitchen, when he's holding his own standards, he's a jerk. The way he calls you out, though, it's impeccable. I can promise you that I'll never overcook meat again!

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: A lot of people leave Hell's Kitchen very bitter but it seems like you walked away from it with an appreciation for it.
A. Jamie: Yeah, I came into Hell's Kitchen with 3 guidelines for myself - Do not cry, don't throw people under the bus, and be nice to the production staff. I would have to self-medicate with a lot with vodka if I cried on national television.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Sometimes, women have a tough time working well together. How do you feel that you got along with your red team?
A. Jamie: I think there are a few people that were out for drama. All in all, I got along with everyone. There were a couple of people that were annoying, but that's your life. You're gonna find annoying people.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: A lot of your team members are looking to get rid of Autumn. What's your take on her?
A. Jamie: Actually, I got along with Autumn but I knew she was going to throw people under the bus and was all about the drama when the camera was rolling.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: It seems that it's very difficult to succeed in Hell's Kitchen. Why do you think that is?
A. Jamie: I think it's hard to cook the best that you can when your panties are in a bunch. There are so many unforeseen things that happen that you really have to think on your feet and go with it. From the beginning, it's hard to ease into it. I never really eased into it.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Which chefs stand out to you right now?
A. Jamie: I think right now, Jay (with the blue hair) is doing well. Ed is flying under the radar quite nicely. As for the girls, no one has stuck out yet. That's usually the case each season.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What are you up to now?
A. Jamie: Right now, I've been with the same company for 3 years. I was a sous chef and when I got back from Hell's Kitchen, I became the head chef/general manager in downtown Chicago and I do corporate dining. I feed 1,000 people a day breakfast and lunch and they're pretty spoiled with the food.
