Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains

King Russell knights the Dragon Slayer this week on Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains. I had to laugh when Coach bowed down to him. As if Russell's head can't get any bigger! Russell has to be careful though, he is playing with a bunch of people that have played the game before, some people more than once. Then again, when everyone does some Dragon Slayer Chi on the beach, it's Russell who finds the hidden immunity idol.

Watching Coach instruct everyone made me think of my season when the Galu tribe was doing yoga as my tribe fought for survival. This season is playing out a lot like my season did. The villains are dominating just like Galu was dominating. Is it something to do with the way everyone is playing the game? Is this going to teach everyone that in order to be successful in the game? Are the Heroes too nice and relying too much on strategy and not stabbing each other in the back?

Now to the reward challenge... chocolate...oh my gosh, chocolate... I think I would have passed out tasting that little bit of chocolate. You tend to crave protein and sweets while playing the game. No matter what message the Heroes were sending to the Villains, I would have been one unhappy girl if my tribe didn't get that chocolate.

Oh, the famous Schmurgenbrawl. This challenge was probably the most intimidating challenge I participated in out there. The second I saw it, I thought, "Someone is for sure going to get hurt." The challenges have become a lot more physical throughout the years. This challenge is when my dear friend Mike Borassi left for medical reasons.

Wow, another physical game by the tribes. It really sucks that James got injured over chocolate and they didn't even win. Rupert still has his broken toe and is still in the game so maybe James has some hope. I could not believe when Jerri got slammed into the side by Rupert! I thought she was going to come up with a bloody nose. Oh man, is Jerri one tough girl! The Villains take the win again. Poor, poor Heroes, I want them to win so badly!

What a reward - so much chocolate. It may seem like its wonderful but after not eating solid food for that period of time can lead to some serious stomach aches. So worth it though!

Anyway, I also felt bad for the Heroes back at camp, waiting to see if James was going to return. I did not realize how much Amanda was relying on James.

Immunity challenge! I love when they blindfold all castaways and tell them to scramble around a field to find something. There are always falls and people colliding. I don't know why I enjoy this, but I do. James had no voice by the end of this challenge and he did a good job leading everyone to him. However, when it came down to the puzzle, the Heroes just couldn't pull it together! Are they just bad at puzzles or do they not listen to one another? I think it's a combination of both. Either way, they need to figure it out before they dwindle to nothing. Come on Heroes! I am rooting for you!!

Back at tribal council, I could feel the tension in my own living room. A lot of dirty laundry was aired tonight and James is not shy about who he wants to go home. When it came down to the vote, Tom left. The idol saved him one week in the game and then he was seen as a threat.

Trainers Tip #5 - When sticking up for someone, make sure the other person is willing to stand up for you as well. I wonder with Candice trying to keep Tom, if this could lead to her leaving down the road. Make sure the person you're fighting for would fight just as hard for you to stay. I personally fought the wrong battles.
