American Legion Post – Willow Grove, PA

This old building looks very much like most veteran hangouts, filled with old style wall coverings and furniture. The Post  was built in the 18th century and the current management staff and others constantly see shadowy figures.  The current owner actually thought he was getting robbed and pulled a gun on a shadow figure which eventually faded away.  During setup both Amy Bruni and Kris Williams believed they saw a shadow.  Later in the set-up Amy and Dustin Pari experienced a  light turning itself on.  Dave Tango and Steve Gonsalves don’t seem to be on the team anymore as they focus on their show “Ghost Hunters Academy.”  It’s a shame they have ditched “Ghost Hunters” because the two of them add the personality that the rest of the team seems to lack.

TAPS co-founders Grant Wilson and Jason Hawes were the first team members to investigate the Post.  They tried to get some EMF readings to maybe explain the eerie feeling that people get while in the Post but did not get any readings at all.  They did believe they caught a shadow figure.

Amy and Kris split up, one investigating the second floor and one on the third floor, but only Amy seemed to get some interaction from a shadowy figure and one has to wonder if the spirits are into her as she continues to have personal experiences.  They later headed to the bar where a shadow figure is said to walk the length of the bar.  As they playfully asked the spirits to give them some sign of their existence, Kris noticed something pass by a window and then it happened again.  Not long after the figure made it’s presence again they both headed upstairs after a noise was heard and did some EVP work but nothing obvious occurred.

The team seemed to have a lot of personal experiences and luckily they were able to catch one of them on video.  One of the cameras was setup facing the window area where multiple members of the team were seeing a shadow figure.  They were able to catch something run past the camera.  They were also able to catch a EVP that said “Important.”  I guess the only “important” thing was that there was some other voice being recorded that did not belong to any team member.  The team was very impressed by this place and certainly felt it was haunted.

Old State House – Hartford, CT

Built in 1796 to house the state government, this ancient building now serves as a museum and holds the history of being the place where the 1st execution of person being accused of being a witch occurred.  The current caretakers often hear footsteps in the upper rooms, even though no none is up there, voices that seem to be debating some topic in the Senate room, apparitions throughout the hallways, and furniture being moved.

Jason and Grant started the investigation and soon found their K2 going crazy.  They then heard some noise coming from the upstairs but could not make any further contact with the spirits.

Kris and Amy were next up to investigate but were having troubles trying to differentiate noise inside the building from construction going on outside the building.  You have to wonder if the construction nearby was going to sabotage this investigation.

There just wasn’t much to talk about when it came to the team having personal experiences so they would really be depending on their audio and video.  They did catch some noises on the audio in an area where there were no members of the team around, sort of sounded like a door closing.  They also caught something that sounded like a woman “shying.” Although the team didn’t have a lot of personal experiences they did have a few items that they could not explain and did request a chance to investigate the State House again.
