Rebecca Meyer from The Biggest Loser 8

Last time, on The Biggest Loser, Liz and Rebecca fell below the yellow line at the weigh in.  Liz had her alliance (Rudy, Danny, and Allen) on her side but they felt that she didn’t make a strong enough case to stay on the ranch.  Rebecca fought hard to keep her spot in the competition but was sent home, in the elimination room, by Rudy, who felt that he couldn’t trust her.  Today, Rebecca spoke to RealityWanted in an exclusive interview about her experiences on the show, whether or not she patched things up with Rudy, and her romance with a fellow contestant!

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What made you decide to try out for The Biggest Loser this season?
A. Rebecca: They called me. I originally auditioned in August of 2007 for season 5 and this was first season in a while that they had singles and thought of my story!

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What was it about Amanda that made your partnership so strong?
A. Rebecca: Amanda and I worked well as roommates and partners… she is like my little sister!

Q. Gina, RealityWanted:
There was a lot of drama and gameplay where Tracey was concerned. Is all forgiven?
A. Rebecca: Of course, I personally believe everything happens for a reason and she definitely had her reasons for her behavior.  Some of us are just on a different journey!

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You had so many strong weeks on the ranch. What do you think happened this particular week with the scale?
A. Rebecca: For me, I think it was a combination of things.  I dropped 10 pounds in week 9, so week 10 was expected to be a little smaller but to see a 3 was tragic! Losing two of my closest friends on the ranch in week 9 definitely played a role with stress and emotions -  a huge part of weight loss!

Q. Gina, RealityWanted:
You must have known that you could have been going home since Liz, Danny, Rudy, and Allen were aligned but were you surprised by the way that Rudy sent you home?
A. Rebecca: I really wasn't expecting what happened!  Rudy and I were quite close up until this point, having been blue team members and house cooks.  To be completely honest, I would have rather had them be honest and admit I was their biggest threat and that keeping Liz was a better option instead of calling my integrity into play!

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Have you and Rudy patched things up?
A. Rebecca: Yes, I don't think it will ever be quite the same but, like I said before, everything happens for a reason and you can't hate on the game aspect.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: We've heard that you and Daniel got together after your time on the ranch. What made you fall for him?
A. Rebecca: Daniel is my best friend.  From there, he admitted his feelings after leaving the ranch.  Shortly after, I let the thought of him in that way settle and I realized I was in love with him because he is my "perfect".  He gets me better than anyone I have ever known!  And the simple act of falling in love with my best friend is and was AMAZING!

Q. Gina, RealityWanted:
What are you doing in preparation for finale night? Do you have a final goal?
A. Rebecca: I am going to finish the way I started… strong!
