As promised on last night's results show of Dancing With the Stars, ABC announced the star of the next season of the Bachelor. This time around, it's another one of the previous season's heartbroken, but still lovable contestants: 31-year-old Jake Pavelka from Dallas, Texas.
You may remember Jake as "the pilot," or as the guy who tried to throw Wes under the bus, or as the guy who collapsed against the handrailing of a hotel hallway, sobbing because the girl didn't take him back. Most women, however, remember him as the one that was "too perfect" for last season's Bachelorette, Jillian Harris. Now, Jake is back to try his hand at finding love on season 14 of the series: The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love.
The new season premieres in January on ABC.
