Previously on Big Brother 11, Kevin
convinced Natalie to step off the log, giving him a place in the competition
for the final two. Natalie pushed to envelope and tried to get Kevin to promise
that he would take her to the end, but in stead he just got incredibly annoyed.
When Jordan beat Natalie, a glimmer of hope is left that maybe, just maybe,
we’ll be seeing loud mouth go home.
When I thought about what could on be on
this episode (since we all knew they weren’t going to eliminate the final
person until Tuesday), it came across my mind that tonight’s episode was a
flashback episode. No, I thought, that’s too much for a show like Big Brother,
right? Wrong.
We go all the way back to the first twist
of the game, Jessie, the 13th houseguest. Casey’s banana suit also gets
mentioned as do the showmances between Jeff and Jordan (which, we all know, is
totally not a showmance) and Lydia and Jessie. But the best mention of the
night definitely belongs to the revisit of the Coup d’Etat, which allowed Jeff
to evict Jessie and sparked the epic meltdown of Chima.
As the clips progress through the season,
it’s evident that they’re supposed to be getting more and more light-hearted
(like Natalie’s freak out over bugs by the pool). Instead, everything just
seems terribly recycled, with the possible exception of Michele talking in her
sleep. All those days of tape and what we’re left with are mostly-used clips of
half-funny moments? Disappointing, I know, but it is the highlights reel—could you
honestly expect anything more?
Be sure to tune in to the finale of Big
Brother 11 on CBS on Tuesday at 9/8c to see who wins the final HoH and who is
crowned the winner of the game!
