The show opened with an encore performance from last night by Team Tango which I don't think surprises anyone.
I've got to say that sometimes I really don't enjoy blogging the results show and I'll tell you why. The time difference.
Just as I sit down to my computer and watch the results show and open my blog document I sometimes get a glance of the
current news on Yahoo or CNN. Inevitably listed are the headlines from the results show and who got eliminated is noted in
the title. That makes it hard for me to enjoy watching when I already know who's gone home.
This week's entertainment was Robin Thicke. He sure is a handsome fellow and sexy as all that, but honestly I don't get all
the hype that surrounds him. He just doesn't have enough in the voice department for me, and to be honest with you he is the
reason I am not going to Jennifer Hudson's concert here in Oakland, California next weekend. I don't want to spend that kind
of money and not see Jennifer for the entire time I'm there. If I loved his voice as much as I love hers I'd spend the cash,
but that just is not the case. I know Oprah loves Robin, and I guess that's all that really counts!
What I enjoyed more was the dating parody with Melissa as the host of "Dance Match", an organization that finds you a dance
partner "for life". It was pretty funny and it also showed that Melissa could easily have a career in television as a host,
an actress, and yes, even as a dancer. If that one wasn't funny enough the second one, a PETA Parody (PETD) People For the
Ethical Treatment Of Dancers was even funnier.
The show also brought back some of the pros who are sort of "auditioning" for next season (Genya, Mayo, Anna, and Afton). My
favorite for tonight was Genya.
If I didn't already know the results, I would have been anxious watching Melissa & Tony and Chuck & Julianne in the bottom
two. No offense to Chuck, because he had really stepped up his game over the last couple of weeks, but I am pretty happy that
Melissa will have another chance to return and resume her quest for the title!
