Last time on The Biggest Loser: Couples 2, Laura won the power to have the sole elimination vote in the game, then voted Sione off The Biggest Loser campus, narrowing the field to 7 contestants.

Back on the ranch, Filipe is struggling to deal without SIone. Filipe starts to read a letter that Sione left behind, encouraging him to go on and win without him. With the help of Kristin, Filipe realizes that he has to win for Sione, as well as Bob and his family.

For this week's first challenge, the contestants find themselves with Alison on top of a canyon 10 stories tall. Each contestant has to cross the canyon by walking on a cable spanning the gap and holding onto a cable over their head. The winner gets a kitchen makeover valued at $25,000 and a refrigerator chock full of Jennie-O Turkey. Mike and Kristin are hesitant to do the challenge, while Filipe is ready to avenge Sione's loss.

After the first few feet, Filipe takes an early lead and Tara slips, having to get back on the wire. Ron stops and Tara gets back on, well behind Filipe, Mike and Kristin. Somehow, Tara uses a technique that no one else seems to pick up on and finishes in 9 minutes and 14 seconds, several feet ahead of Filipe. Tara's win marks her tenth win of the season, making her the strongest contender to win this competition.

Tara's kitchen isn't the only thing to get a makeover, though. Everyone does, since it's everyone's favorite week on The Biggest Loser, makeover week. Everyone takes a trip to Macy's and gets to meet Tim Gunn (Project Runway judge), who tells them they'll be attending a Hollywood movie premiere.

Tim seems surprisingly understanding of how powerful the makeover is for the contestants, since they're shopping for a whole new body. After everyone's outfits get modeled, everyone wins a $1,000 gift card to Macy's and a new hairstyle, which everyone is excited for.

After their transformations, The Biggest Loser contestants get to see their family members, all of whom are shocked at the transformations the contestants made. Tara's mom shows off her own weight loss (40 pounds!) and we find out Ron never shaved his beard (which is a little on the gross side if you ask me). Max starts to cry again, upset that he's left out the weight loss, but Mike tries to give him some inspirational words.

All the contestants get interviewed by Access Hollywood and OK! Magazine on the red carpet, then they find out the "movie" premiering is a vignette about their time on The Biggest Loser campus, representing their weight loss journey.

Of course all the love is great, but it's back to working out with everyone's last chance workouts. Both Bob and Jillian stress the importance of their workouts this week, since the contestants didn't get the chance to fit as much exercise in with the makeovers.

Bob is clearly freaking out, since he only has Kristin, Filipe and Ron left. Bob starts pushing each contestant harder than I've ever seen them get pushed, really making them sweat. Jillian, on the other hand, accompanies Laura to the staff doctor because of pains in her hip and leg. It turns out to be a stress fracture in her hip, which prevents her from doing any strenuous exercise for three months.

Now it's time for a cleverly placed product placement. Well, kind of, since the product is good, old fashioned milk, not really a company or brand. 3 glasses of milk gives you all the vitamins and nutrients you need, so keep drinking the good stuff.

Jillian is equally as intense as Bob with her workout, though she's much more motivational this week and less driven by fear of the yellow line. Both Jillian and Bob stress the need to workout because of the lack of time during the week to exercise.

At the weigh-in, Alison notes that Mike could break the Biggest Loser record of losing the most weight ever on the Biggest Loser ranch, since he's only five pounds away from achieving it. The results of the weigh-in were as follows:

Helen: -7 (-4.14%)
Tara: -4 (-2.15%)
Mike: -5 (-2.02%)
Filipe: -5 (-1.98%)
Ron: -6 (-1.95%)
Kristin: -2 (-0.82%)
Laura: +3 (+1.46%)

Mike ends up breaking the record by losing 145 pounds in fifteen weeks. The celebration is short as everyone is sad to see Laura gain weight because of her injury. Kristin is worried that people will see her as a threat and vote her out over Laura.

Before deliberation, Laura tells everyone she wants to be on the Biggest Loser campus and doesn't want them to take her injury into account. Kristin insists she needs to stay at the ranch and pleads with the other contestants not to take the easy way out.

Tara defends Laura, saying she's figured herself out and she's on the ranch to lose the weight she wants to. Ron argues that Laura doesn't have the help she needs to get better on the Biggest Loser campus, and she needs to be sent home so she can get better, which Laura tries to counter. Tara gets upset at Ron, saying he would vote out Kristin if Laura didn't have an injury.

In the elimination room, Tara votes for Kristin (obviously), while Ron votes for Laura to leave. Mike also votes for Laura, but Helen tearfully votes for Kristin (is she purposely trying to make enemies?). Filipe seals the deal by voting out Laura, a bittersweet revenge for Sione's departure last week.

At home, Laura gets a lot of help from The Biggest Loser medical team on her road to recovery from such a potentially dangerous injury. Since the beginning of the show, Laura has lost 77 pounds and intends to have lost 100 by the finale.
