There was no dance off tonight, and I'm not really sure why.....but the bottom two couples were Steve & Lacey and Ty & Chelsie based on both leader board scores and leader board scores combined with the viewer votes.

For entertainment there was the Broadway cast of West Side Story singing and dancing "America" which is always enjoyable for a Broadway finatic such as myself.  Then there was Rascal Flatts who perfomed twice.   I'm not a big country fan so this band doesn't appeal to me much, but I recognize their popularity with people who do love country music.  However, I will admit when they started to sing a Beatles song, I paid attention!  Also tonight Carmen Electra and her "girls" performed a number choreographed by one of the original Pussy Cat Dolls.  I loved the number itself, but if I had to grade Carmen on her dance moves it would be based on the Broadway musical Chorus Line......Looks 10.......Dance 3.   I would have preferred to actually see the Pussycat Dolls both SING and DANCE the number.  Now that would have been awesome!

I don't think it was a surprise to anyone that Steve O. left the competition tonight.   I half expected his fans to save him over Ty, but was happy with the outcome of this week's vote.  As much as I'll miss watching my girl Lacey, it was time for Steve to say goodbye.
