Lacey from Fox's Hells Kitchen
Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: I am going to start out with the same boring question, did you watch past seasons?
A: Lacey, Hells Kitchen 5: I was a huge fan of the show since it first came on. I was one of those viewers who watched Hell’s Kitchen and said, “I can do that.”

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Why did you apply, you must have known what you were getting yourself into?
A: Lacey, Hells Kitchen 5: They had an open casting call in NC and one of my girlfriends and I said, “What the hell lets try.” We just assumed they wouldn’t pick us anyway.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Well you did make it, so what the heck did you think when you started to see yourself going further along the process?
A: Lacey, Hells Kitchen 5: It was bitter sweet since I didn’t think I would get picked. Once I knew I was about to be on it, I started to freak out. I started to prepare myself on what to do or not do but that all went out the window for me.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Do you like how you have been portrayed, I know everyone is asking you this?
A: Lacey, Hells Kitchen 5: They got my whiney side down perfect and of course all the things you saw on TV I did. On day one when I saw the other contestants, I knew I was over my head. In the past, they have had stay at home moms and accountants on the show but everyone on this season was in the industry. I knew I was in trouble.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Was the Andrea/Carol back and forth as bad as it is shown on air?
A: Lacey, Hells Kitchen 5: What you saw of them is how they are, they are strong willed stubborn women. Women are going to find a reason to fight and if they don’t put it aside it will hurt the team and their chances.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: What about Chef Ramsay, some contestants like him and some have told me they don’t care for him?
A: Lacey, Hells Kitchen 5: I loved Chef Ramsay, especially since I had been a fan and I knew what to expect from him. It wasn’t Chef Ramsay who stressed me out, it was the other teammates. If you look at the whole season, I never got yelled out until my last episode. I was disappointed he didn’t call me a donkey, my dad even bought me a stuffed donkey before the show.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: For some reason I call my dog a donkey now, must have been subliminal. Talk to me about surprises from watching it at home.
A: Lacey, Hells Kitchen 5: The Robert fat joke thing was a surprise, I lovingly refer to him as my pot. If it came from Andrea or Carol or someone skinny it would have been different but when Robert called me fat, I died laughing.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Are you glad you did it and would you do it again?
A: Lacey, Hells Kitchen 5: I am glad I did it and would do it again.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Words of advice for next person on the couch who thinks they can do it?
A: Lacey, Hells Kitchen 5: Keep in mind I said, “I could do that” and I found out it’s a ton of long hours and a ton of work. People assume it’s all played up for TV and they just film us for a few minutes then we relax. We worked non stop, we had long hours, and none of it was played up for TV.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Before we let you go what are you up to today?
A: Lacey, Hells Kitchen 5: I am now a cake decorator and I have lost 25 pounds.
