Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Did you watch past seasons?
A: LA, Hells Kitchen 5: No, I really never watched it until the audition process started.  I then started going online and watching some clips.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: So you didn’t know much about Hells Kitchen when you first applied?
A: LA, Hells Kitchen 5: Not at first, but once I started watching the clips I was like oh no what have I got myself into.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: If you hadn’t watched season 1 – 4 of Hells Kitchen how did you find out about the casting call?
A: LA, Hells Kitchen 5: I think the head chef at work put the audition on the window we all walk by at work. Sharon from last season worked with me and we both applied.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Was Gordon as bad as tough as you expected?
A: LA, Hells Kitchen 5: As far as the yelling and stuff I thought it was going to be hard but some of things he said to the girls was harsh. Outside of the kitchen, Gordon was very nice.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: You guys had several challenges, some handed out cool rewards. What was the best reward you received?
A: LA, Hells Kitchen 5: The TV guide gig we got last night.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: What was your worst penalty?
A: LA, Hells Kitchen 5: When we lost a challenge and had to eat cow guts, the entire time I was thinking I tried out for Hells Kitchen not Fear Factor.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Some of your teammates got the wrath from Gordon. He really dug into Colleen. Was he justified in doing so?
A: LA, Hells Kitchen 5:  Sometimes he took it too far, but when it came right down to it she just couldn’t handle any station he put her on.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Lacey didn’t seem to make many friends while she was there.
A: LA, Hells Kitchen 5: Lacey was just how you saw her, she broke down on every station and everyone wanted her gone on day one. None of us knew why she was even on the show.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: What’s next for you?
A: LA, Hells Kitchen 5: My plans are to keep my name out there and try to better myself. I went on this for an opportunity of a life time.
