Clark Air Base Hospital – Angeles City, Philippines
Destroyed years earlier by the result of a nearby volcano eruption, the hospital couldn’t have been more eerie. 12ft of ash fallout buried the air force base and hospital where many a soldier from Vietnam spent his last days. The hospital is now at the mercy of mother nature, hollowed out and covered by bushes, trees, and weeds.  A spot now where only the local teenagers hang out to drink, smoke whatever, and dare each other to roam the empty halls by themselves.

Barry seemed like he was a magnet for noises, lights, and finally a soldier apparition during this investigation.  Many times Barry mentioned not just the presence of one soldier but a troop of soldiers. Even Robb, who seems hard to convince, was hearing voices.  Robb was also sporting new noise cancelling headphones connected to a microphone that the GHI team is using to help minimize natural noises, something that has been a problem on other investigations.  Beyond personal experiences, the team did capture some good EVP’s and some horrific screams, screams that have been heard by the local caretaker. Considering the horrible past of treating wounded soldiers, some begging for their lives, the GHI team was not surprised by the feedback including one EVP saying “Help,” in a very desperate tone.   The GHI team had no problem calling this hospital haunted after their nights investigation.  Be sure to watch this one on the GHI website if you missed the show.

Diplomat Hotel – Baguio City, Philippines
Built in 1911 as a monastery, the Diplomat hotel now lays in ruin filled with stories of shadows, footsteps, and strange noises that have terrorized the local guides.  Multiple reports of a “White Lady” roaming the abandoned halls has also been reported.  The team didn’t seem to be having the experiences they had at the Clark Air Base Hospital, and it seemed the producers did their best at showcasing the scarier elements of the emptied hotel, which included spiders that made large dogs look small in the chambers beneath the hotel.  The GHI team had nothing to share as evidence and could not call the hotel haunted, and in fact blamed most peoples’ experiences on cell phone towers close by admitting electro magnetic waves, as well as, a few random bums taking up residence.
