Interview with Elina Ivanova from America’s Next Top Model Cycle 11

 

Today we had the opportunity to speak with Elina Ivanova from America’s Next Top Model. Elina a 19 year old from Seattle, WA was recently eliminated from the show. Here’s what she had to say:

 

Q. What made you want to be on America’s Next Top Model?

 

A. Elina Ivanova, Top Model: I returned from technical school and always wanted to be a model, so I filled out my application and sent my tape in.

 

Q. Mark, (RealityWanted.com): We have a lot of members on our site that apply to different casting calls, do you have any advice for those people putting videos together?

 

A. Elina Ivanova, Top Model: I explained why I wanted to be there and was extremely passionate. I let them know that I had a lot to bring to the table if they chose me because of my work in animal rights and my passion for modeling.

 

Q. What was your most memorable experience on the show?

 

A. Elina Ivanova, Top Model: My favorite experience was going to Amsterdam. It reminded me of being back home in the Ukraine. It is very free there and has a great atmosphere.

 

Q. Did you leave any notes for the girls?

 

A. Elina Ivanova, Top Model: I left Marjorie a note and I am rooting for her to win.

 

Q. Did you work out your differences with some of the girls you had conflicts with?

 

A. Elina Ivanova, Top Model: I haven’t had the opportunity but I would like to contact them outside of the competition and clean the air.

 

Q. Have you stayed in touch with any of the girls?

 

A. Elina Ivanova, Top Model: I have been keeping in touch with Clark.

 

Q. Do you think the judging was fair in the competition?

 

A. Elina Ivanova, Top Model: No. They were constantly controlling and I think they blew a lot of things out of proportion.

 

Q. What would you do different if you had the opportunity to do it all over again?

 

A. Elina Ivanova, Top Model: I would try to let go more. I did the best I could while in the competition and will continue to improve because I am planning on continuing in modeling.
