Going into tonight's finale of Survivor: South Pacific, it's hard to imagine a scenario where Coach or Ozzy don't win this game. You would think, especially considering last season, that new players would be wary of veterans coming back into the game. That being said, in order for Ozzy to make it there, he'll have to defeat Brandon in what looks to be the best duel of the season.
The duel is, of course, a stamina challenge and is as straightforward as it

When put your trust in your tribe and give them total loyalty only to have them turn on you and vote you out, it's a tough pill to swallow. Survivor: South Pacific's Edna Ma learned that the hard way when fellow tribe member Brandon Hantz told her straight to her face that she wasn't part of their group and was headed to Redemption Island next. The tribe delivered what Brandon promised - Edna didn't last very long at Redemption as she was defeated by

The final five on Survivor: South Pacific can smell the million dollars and at this point, friendships, alliances, and promises can all be broken for the chance to sit at that final tribal council and plead for votes. It seems like Albert and Sophie have been a duo for quite some time now but he's ready to take out what he perceives as the biggest threat in the game right now (because Ozzy's still chillin' on Redemption). He and Rick... who we're apparently now calling Cowboy... yeah,

Whatever your opinion is of superfan Cochran on Survivor this season, you can't fault the guy for trying to make a bold move, even if it did backfire in the end. On last night's episode, after being voted out by the Upolu tribe, he faced Ozzy in a very close duel on Redemption Island but came up short in the end. Today, we talked to the player that has people talking this season over whether they love him or hate him to find out

With only six players actively in the game of Survivor, and all from the same original tribe, it's inevitable that somebody is going to feel on the outs and that person is Edna. It's not like she's imagining it - Brandon told her straight up at tribal council that she's not part of the tribe. Understandably, she doesn't want to participate in morning prayer or pretend that she's actually friends with these people.
She turns on the waterworks for Coach, trying to figure out why some

SURVIVOR: SOUTH PACIFIC (source: cbs press release)
Eighteen castaways will compete on SURVIVOR: SOUTH PACIFIC when the Emmy Award-winning series returns on Wednesdays with the game-changing element, Redemption Island. The 18 castaways will be divided into two Tribes of nine: the Savaii Tribe and the Upolu Tribe, named after the two islands of Samoa. The tribes are comprised of individuals from all different backgrounds with the same ultimate goal: to be the Sole Survivor. While 16 of the contestants are new to the competition, two are former castaways who have returned to seek Redemption. In the end, only one will remain to claim the million dollar prize and title of Sole Survivor. The show is hosted by Emmy Award winner Jeff Probst.
CBS today announced 16 of 18 castaways who will compete against each other on SURVIVOR: SOUTH PACIFIC, when the Emmy Award-winning series returns for its 23rd season with a special 90-minute edition, Wednesday, Sept. 14 (8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Two of the 18 castaways, to be revealed later this week, are former castaways who will return to seek redemption.

The “Redemption Island” twist returns in SURVIVOR: SOUTH PACIFIC in which castaways who have been eliminated from the game will have an opportunity to return for a chance to win the million dollar prize. Each week at Tribal Council, when a castaway is voted off, they will be sent to live alone on Redemption Island and, in order to stay in the game, will need to compete in a duel against the next person eliminated at Tribal Council. The winner of each duel earns the right to continue fighting for an opportunity to return to the game and the chance to compete for the title of Sole Survivor; and the loser is sent home.
