"My Dad Is Better Than Your Dad," premiering on Monday, February 18 (8-9 p.m. ET), is a fun-filled, family-friendly competition series from the producers of "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" (Mark Burnett Productions) and NBC’s "The Biggest Loser" (Reveille). The series will finally prove the familiar schoolyard boast -- "My dad is better than your dad!"

Hosted by Dan Cortese (“MTV Sports,” “What I Like About You”), the high-energy series features dads and their respective 8 to12-year-old sons or daughters at the forefront of the action -- leading them in exciting larger-than-life challenges testing dad’s strength, smarts and their ability to work as a team. Ultimately, the triumphant dad will strut away with the all-important bragging rights and the opportunity to compete in the “money” round, with a chance to win up to $50,000.

Each episode will feature four teams competing against each other in a series of fun and engaging challenges. The various challenges include: Human Dart Board, The Spinning Discs, Snake Bobbing, Alphabet Soup, Happy Hour, Uphill Battle, Empty Nest, Target Practice, Quiz Round, Scorpion King, Paper Boy Shoot-Out, Arachnophobia, Stinger and for the final team --the “Money” round.

"My Dad Is Better Than Your Dad" was created by Jon Hotchkiss and is a production of Reveille, Mark Burnett Productions and Hotchkiss Industries. Mark Burnett ("Survivor"; "Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?"; "Celebrity Apprentice"), Mark Koops ("The Biggest Loser"), Howard T. Owens ("The Biggest Loser"), Mike Nichols ("Victoria Beckham: Coming To America") and Jon Hotchkiss (“Penn & Teller: Bullsh*t!”) are the executive producers.
