Since being a the ranch the contestants have been 100% disconnected electronically. Americans spend an average of 11 hours a day in front of an electronic device. The challenge is all about digital distractions and the winner gets a choice of two temptations; reconnecting with he outside world all week or exclusive use of the gym for an entire week. It's a giant game of telephone... they will have to memorize a 14-color color combination, over unders, army crawls and a monitor wall. Team Dolvett wins and they chose to take the gym for a week. That means that the other team gets the phone calls. A huge sacrifice to make. Richard feels this was a mistake because he believes burning calories isn't exclusive to gym activity and he really misses his husband. Looks like the extra distraction of family interaction actually had a negative effect on Team Jen. Will it transfer to their weigh in? In a twist, there will be no yellow line. Instead there will be a red line and if you're under that line you are immediately eliminated.

Team Jen
Rob - 289 to 286, down 3 pounds
Vicki - 214 to 210, down 4 pounds
Lauren - 211 to 206, down 5 pounds
Luis - 273 to 267, down 6 pounds
Sarah - 237 to 229, down 8 pounds
Roberto - 308 to 300, down 8 pounds
Colby - 300 to 288, down 12 pounds

Team Dolvett
Erin - 216 to 210, down 6 pounds
Felicia - 209 to 205, down 4 pounds
Stephen - 283 to 277, down 6 pounds
Toy - 295 to 288, down 7 pounds
Jacky - 278 to 269, down 9 pounds
Richard - 285 to 280, down 5 pounds

The person immediately eliminated is Richard. Would that phone call home have made the difference?

The next challenge is a changing of teams. The contestants are visibly upset. Colby and Jacky are their biggest losers at the last weigh-in so they get to keep their trainers. As team leaders they can only pick from the opposite team. Each new member gets to pick after that, until each team has 6 players.
Team Dolvett: Colby, Erin, Luis, Toy, Lauren, Vicki
Team Jen: Jacky, Roberto, Stephen, Rob, Felicia, Sarah
Now they have to put together 16 puzzle pieces into a puzzle box... up giant stairs and shipping containers. Each puzzle piece must be carried one at a time. Once together the puzzle will reveal the prize. Team Jen wins the challenge and gets a 3 pound advantage at the next weigh-in.

Their last chance challenge is without Luis because he experienced a back spasm that left him uncleared to even walk to the gym. The losing team of this last challenge relay will get a 1 pound disadvantage at the weigh-in. Two players will do a 1/4 mile on the treadmill, then two players will go 1 mile on the bike, then the last player will do 200ft on Jacob's Ladder. Team Dolvett wins bringing Team Jen to only a 2 pound advantage at weigh-in.

Team Jen
Luis - 267 to 260, down 7 pounds
Lauren - 206 to 202, down 4 pounds
Colby - 288 to 282, down 6 pounds
Vicki - 210 to 205, down 5 pounds
Erin - 210 to 205, down 5 pounds
Toy - 288 to 282, down 6 pounds

Team Dolvett
Roberto - 300 to 291, down 9 pounds
Felicia - 205 to 202, down 3 pounds
Steven - 277 to 269, down 8 pounds
Jacky - 269 to 265, down 4 pounds
Rob - 286 to 278, down 8 pounds
Sarah - 229 to 226, down 3 pounds

The second person immediately eliminated is Sarah. Both her father, Rob, and Jen are extremely upset. He says he wants to take her place but she says, "no".

When we get a glimpse of Richard and Sarah they both look great. Richard is down to 271, a total of 43 pounds lost so far. Sarah is down to 205 for a total of 62 pounds.
