The first exercise the Directors have the couples do is to write down their grievances with each other... what are their usual arguments about? The purpose is to show that while most people think that happy couples don't fight, in a good relationship fighting can be an effective form of communication. If you fight fair. Once in the boxing ring, yes I said boxing ring, they are to air out said grievances for points. Each person delivers low blows to their partner in return for more points, winner takes all. During the exercise Sugar Bear shoves June and Sean and Catherine shut down and don't really fight. This irritates the other boot campers and makes it appear as if Sean and Catherine are trying too hard to appear perfect. After the experience, Ink and Sarah continue with the arguments, complete with aggressive name calling. What the couples don't realize is the points they have accumulated for being cruel are being kept and added up for the next challenge.

Each couple shares a shackle with the accumulated weight of both scores because there is no real winner with you fight dirty. Catherine and Sean got off lucky but they'll have their moment eventually. Sarah and Ink are going to feel some pain dragging 42 points behind them up a hill. If they work together to complete the task and climb the hill there will be a key to unlock their chain. It turns out that Sarah and Ink are actually creative and work well together. Althea and Benzino can't get along for shit. And June and Sugar Bear really need to work out.

The Judge Toler's Divorce Court evaluation is:
Ink is loving but he doest appreciate Sarah.
Sugar Bear needs to tell Mama June the truth. He admits his indiscretions but also says he wants to change. He also discloses that he's only cheated once but has communicated with others. Mama June doesn't believe him.
Benzino carries all of the burden of the relationship and Althea doesn't take responsibility for herself and her actions.
Sundy and Cedrik don't enjoy each other's company and they need to nice to one another.
Sean needs to make sure Catherine gets heard.

Side note: Althea and Benzino start their days with arguments like others start their days with coffee. Yeeowza.
One more side note: In the clip for next week's episode we see Mama June accuse Sugar Bear of texting men and women in an inappropriate way.
