Mady and Cara no longer share a room and you can see why. Mady is uber organized while Cara "needs 5 minutes" to straighten up her room for the cameras. To encourage Mady's unique design abilities Kate and a friend are taking Mady antique shopping. While Mady is thrilled about a "cute vintage" radio, Kate realizes that the items she had a child are now in antique stores. Awkward. But nothing makes her more uncomfortable than finding an autopsy table.

Mady recruits little kid, Aaden, to help clean and paint her new antique metal bedside tables. Instead of saying "thank you" to her little brother or her mother, she gets mouthy. Oh, teenagers. And Kate takes hormones so well. Kudos.

Kate has toyed with the idea of getting little horse that will live inside and sleep on a dog bed. So, she's taking the kids to the Land of Little Horses. Once there she learned how difficult horses, much less miniature horses, are to take care of. Between the amount they are allowed to eat, how to graze and hoof care, Kate's dreams are smashed.

While winning is fun, not everybody wins. Kate's motto is, you work for what you get. Since it's summertime there's still time for fun projects so Kate has organized a cooking challenge. Round one is dinner. She puts out a box of 10 ingredients (tomato, avocado, sesame seeds, sesame oil, scallions, tuna fish, flour tortillas, corn, hard-boiled eggs, salt) and each team will pick 5 items. Each of the two teams will have 60 minutes to complete their meal. Teams were: Mady with Aaden, Collin, Hannah - Cara with Joel, Alexis, Leah. Kate and friend Andrea are the judges. Round two is dessert. Winners: Team Mady.
