Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Had you watched prior seasons of The Biggest Loser? If so what was your favorite season or contestant?

A. Amy Zimmer, Biggest Loser: I am a big fan and watched season two and three of The Biggest Loser. While on my couch watching season three I saw a casting commercial for season four. I went to my computer and found a local open casting call, applied, and made it.

Q. Mark: Had you tried various other ways to lose weight prior? If so what would you tell others to stay away from?

A. Amy Zimmer, Biggest Loser: I tried weight watchers, LA weight loss, and Atkins. My downfall was how hard I was on myself, for example I would have a good week of dieting and eating right and then I would have a bad day or bad weekend. Once I had a bad diet day or weekend I would tell myself how I wasn't cut out for this and give up. After the show I have realized that if you have a bad day there is always tomorrow, this is a lifestyle change and I learned how to focus on myself to accomplish my weight loss goals.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: What if anything happened off camera with you and Kim after you switched teams?

A. Amy Zimmer, Biggest Loser: First off I have let everyone know how the wonderful world of editing can make you out as the show villain. Viewers only got the opportunity to see one side of the story, there was so much more going on viewers did not get to see. For example, when I left that workout in episode two I was told to leave the workout by Kim, I didn't just leave. Kim and I got along great, I just didn't see the results I wanted to see over there. It's also hard to stay with a trainer who doesn't really want you on their team. I had too much invested in this show and I didn't think Kim had my best interests in mind.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: What took you to Jillian's team and not Bobs?

A. Amy Zimmer, Biggest Loser: I think I chose her team after I had seen how she was training other females. Girls are harder to train than guys since guys can lose weight faster so I felt better with a female trainer.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: What was the best part of being on The Biggest Loser?

A. Amy Zimmer, Biggest Loser: The show helped me learn how to focus on Amy, it helped me transform myself and get my life back. I learned how to be proud of myself, look in the mirror and like what I see. I was also on the Today Show and how many people get that opportunity.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: How has it been since you got home? Have you managed to keep the weight off?

A. Amy Zimmer, Biggest Loser: So far I have lost over 110 pounds. I was also very fortunate to have such a strong support system at home. My husband has been such a trouper, he has always lived a healthy lifestyle, and he has served as my pseudo trainer.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Have you learned anything from watching the show that you were not aware of?

A. Amy Zimmer, Biggest Loser: It was hard to see how Kay reacted being in dual with me. It's also hard to see how you can be portrayed on TV and there is so much viewers don't get to see about us. I hope viewers understand this isn't morality TV its Reality TV and editing can make anyone to look like the hero or the villain.
