Tonight is the most awkward and intimidating week of the season. The stars and pros are switching up their partners based on fan request. In other news, Tom is back after the apparent death of his father. Also, Season 18 Champion Maksim Chmerkovskiy is guest judging... I bet he's hard to please. The new couples of this week are: Alek and Emma, Alexa and Derek, Andy and Sharna, Bindi and Val, Carlos and Lindsay, Hayes and Allison, Nick and Witney, Paula and Mark as well as Tamar and Louis. It's not just the stars that can end up in tears due to jealousy and paranoia. It may just be what the stars need to bring a little oomph.

Although most of the pairs were nervous about the switch-up, it seems that the highest scores of the entire season fell on this night. Alexa scored her first 10(s) of the season as well as the first perfect score for anyone thus far (meaning she beat her husband by one whole point). It turns out Maksim isn't as hard to please as we thought he would be.

Next week Olivia Newton-John will be joining the judges as the guest judge for famous dances night. It is promised to be a night full of iconic routines.
