NBC shakes things up for the popular weight loss series bringing veteran trainer Bob Harper in as the host of the upcoming season. In his exciting new role, Harper will continue to offer his expertise to the contestants throughout the season.
"I'm super excited about taking the position of host on 'The Biggest Loser," Harper says, "I've been with the show since season one so I know all of the ins and outs, and let me tell you, the weigh-in room is going to be a completely different ballgame with me at the steering wheel."
The format will return to a team vs .team competition with trainers Dolvett Quince and Jennifer Widerstrom leading 8 contestant teams of 2. Dovett, who will be returning for his 6th season, and Jen, who is back for season 2 after a KILLER rookie season.
Production will begin this month, more information on the upcoming season as well as the premiere will be announced at a later date.
