Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: What originally got you interested in doing Survivor? Did you watch it in the past and go, I can do that!

A. Jean-Robert Survivor China: One of the folks from casting thought I would be good for the show and approached me. At first I thought there was no way I would go suffer in that mess. As a card player I thought about the 1 in 16 chance to win 1 million dollars and that helped me change my mind. I did watch the majority of Survivor season one.

Q. Mark: When you found out you were going to be on the show did you try and learn new skills like building a fire, building shelter, etc?

A. Jean-Robert Survivor China: I did start doing more cardio and also started swimming. I wasn't in perfect shape when I went on the show but better shape than I was prior to going on.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Talk to me about your strategy. I was on a conference call with Jeff Probst before the show started. Jeff talked about a person coming on the show who had a strategy to get people not to like him, but then later got the group to embrace him, I assume that was you?

A. Jean-Robert Survivor China: It was my strategy to start off as the biggest jerk, look lazy, and barely avoid getting kicked off. Later, I would then become likable and work my way up within the tribe.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: So that was your plan the entire time. It doesn't appear it worked out.

A. Jean-Robert Survivor China: I thought it worked great. I was working my way into the middle of pack. I started hearing less gripes from my tribe about me, I started getting more fish, and working harder.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: What about James? He had both idols, Todd planned on kicking him, but here you were in his place.

A. Jean-Robert Survivor China: James was really the biggest threat in the game. As much as I like James he was the biggest obstacle between me and the one million dollar prize.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Lets talk about Todd, he seems to have taken on a big leadership role.

A. Jean-Robert Survivor China: Todd is a little bit of a maniac. Todd has a ton of Survivor knowledge which can help him with the game, but he also loves drama. He was right with his initial idea to kick off James. Todd became uncomfortable when I went from not knowing about the hidden immunity idols to knowing James had them both. I also think Todd was agitated that I came up with the same plan he did to backdoor James. It was a bad move on Todd's part to keep James. They could have kicked me off at anytime later in the game. James is the biggest threat and he will probably be in the finals.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: What started the rift between you and Courtney?

A. Jean-Robert Survivor China: My opinion is that she was frustrated with my comment about her and the challenges. I felt she would do better in the reward challenges not the immunity challenges. I was looking for ways we could use her and have her cause the least amount of damage to our tribe. Everyone else felt the same way but I was the only one who voiced this to Courtney.

I thought we got along at first. On the very first night in China she was very cold so I wrapped her up to keep her warm. The next day I found out she was talking crap about me to Leslie. You did notice last night she did not lobby as strong to kick me off. I complimented her on winning the immunity challenge. I think my compliment meant a great deal to her since it's kind of like cool when the jerk in a group gives you a compliment, it means more to you.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Last week Jamie presented a bogus idol to Jeff. This week you thought you had found the hidden idols which were similar to the one Jamie found. Did you not know they were fake?

A. Jean-Robert Survivor China: I really never thought I had the real idols, but I hoped I did. When I told Eric that I had them it wasn't to give him new information, it was to get information out of him, which I did. The sad part is that the information Eric gave me about James may have been what lead to my elimination. Todd really screwed up and they will end up paying for it.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Eric and Jamie seemed to strike up a liking for one another as well as Frosti and Courtney. What do you think of these show romances and did you have an eye for anyone?

A. Jean-Robert Survivor China: I felt Courtney had a mad crush on Frosti and Frosti was fascinated that she was interested in him. Eric and Jamie hit it off big time but it was Jamie going after Eric. When you're out trying to eat, sleep, and survive its not the best time to strike up a relationship. If I were to see Jamie and Amanda out on the street they are more the type I would go for.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Did you like how you were portrayed on the show?

A. Jean-Robert Survivor China: I don't like being looked at as a jerk but it was the way I played the game. It was a bit exaggerated on TV since I am sure the audience thought all I did was sleep all day but in fact if you ask anyone who was on the show I slept the least amount. I didn't sleep at night, I stayed up taking care of the fire and so on. I slept a couple of hours during the day even though the show made it look like all I did was sleep.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Did you learn anything about yourself or your cast mates after watching the show?

A. Jean-Robert Survivor China: The biggest surprise for me was to see all the information that was circulating about the hidden immunity idols and I was clueless about it. Its not like I missed the clues, no one shared any of the information with me. However, you all saw when I read the final clue, I found where the idols should have been in record time.
