It was a night of complaining, backstabbing and a blindside many have been waiting for. Welcome back to Reality Wanted's Survivor recap destination, where like Sierra, we're just chilling, doing our thing.

Last night was the penultimate episode of Survivor 30, a season stuffed with blindsides, controversy, heroes and villains. Let's get started with out Top Five takeaways from last night!

The Longest Word Puzzle in Survivor History
After the Final 6 return to camp following Tyler's elimination, one thing seems simple. The next time Mike doesn't win immunity, he'll be the next off the island. However, what's not so simple is this week's reward challenge.

Split into two teams of three, the survivors must barrel through obstacles and complete the challenge with a word puzzle. Team Blue consists of Dan, Rodney and Sierra, while Team Red has Carolyn, Mike and Will.

Both teams go through an hour of trying to decipher the phrase "A Reward With All The Fixins." The teams ride the struggle bus for what seems like eternity, and according to Jeff, this becomes the longest word puzzle in Survivor history. Shoutout to Sierra for getting the word "Fixin," but then Dan shooting her down.

We get words like "wax," "shain't," "I wash," and Rodney's "a reward that will fix wishin." After Jeff drops a few hints, the answer clicks for Carolyn, solidifying the Red team a helicopter ride over Nicaragua, finished with surf & turf. This mean that Rodney gets to hold onto his losing streak, losing yet another reward.

Carolyn has some second thoughts on offering up her spot in the reward, but ultimately decides against it. She earned, she deserved it. See ya back at camp Rodney.

A Reward for 6
While Carolyn, Mike and Will are flying over the mouth a a volcano, Dan stumbles upon some random watermelons in the ground. After 35 days, why has no one found these before? Who could know. Maybe production just feared for Rodney's health and/or sanity or maybe Dan had them all stashed in bush. Anything can happen in Survivor.

Regardless, these apparent mini watermelons breathe new life into Rodney, yet he still remains bitter about Carolyn going on her fourth reward of the season.

Back at the reward, Mike tries to solidify a final 3 with Will and Carolyn. Although Carolyn keeps her options open, and has kept them open this entire season, Will knows going to the end with Mike will be like handing Mike the million dollars. However, at this point, regardless of who Will goes with, I'd be surprised if he gets a single vote.

Grappling for Immunity
In the immunity challenge, everyone must collect three bags in the sand, using grappling hooks, and then solve a table maze. First person to win solidifies themselves in the Top 5.

Mike and Dan pull off to an early lead, mastering the grappling hook, while Carolyn and Rodney struggle. In the maze, Dan fumbles and loses his ball in many of the pitfalls, but Mike keeps it slow and steady.

Shoutout to Survivor's editing team because Sierra comes from behind and they make it look like she is about to win as Mike can't get is ball in the center slot of the table maze. I was falling off my seat and rolling on the floor not knowing what was about to happen. In end, Mike wins his third individual immunity and who knows if Sierra was actually that close.

Pre-Tribal Scramble
At this point, it's classic Survivor. Rondey, Sierra and Will tell Mike and Carolyn that they'll be voting out Dan, but in actuality they're blindsiding Carolyn.

However, when Mike approaches Dan and tells Dan that his alliance is about to turn on him, Dan remains confident he's staying. After observing who feels safe at camp, Mike hits the nail on the head and figures out that Carolyn is the actual target.

Double Down on Dan:

At tribal, the jury strolls in, seemingly extremely excited that Mike has won immunity, but it's only the beginning of their night! It's a tribal full of advantages, as Dan finally plays his extra vote he bought at the Survivor auction, making the vote tally now 7 instead of 6.

Before Jeff reads the votes, Carolyn drops her idol bomb she found all the way back in Episode 1, nullifying any votes against her. As Jeff tallies the votes, 5 of them are for Carolyn, with Mike and Carolyn teaming up and putting their votes toward Dan.

Tyler always said that Dan couldn't see past Top 6. However, when Dan finally did, it was too late and now he sits in the 6th place as the 6th member of the jury.

We're you happy to see Dan get the boot? Who's your pick going into finale night? And who do you want to see come back for Survivor: Second Chances?
