Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Had you watched prior seasons of The Biggest Loser? If so what was your favorite season or who were your favorite contestant(s)?

A. Phil Hawk, Biggest Loser: I have watched every season. No pun intended, I was a very large fan of the show. If I had to pick out one prior contestant that stood out, it would Marty.

Q. Mark: Where you happy the red team forced at tie?

A. Phil Hawk, Biggest Loser: With the possibility of having another chance of staying I was happy with it.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: What are your thoughts about the blue team, to viewers it didn't seem like they wanted to eliminate you.

A. Phil Hawk, Biggest Loser: It was nice to see that it was a tough decision from them. We all became friends on the show. I liked the fact that I was liked and respected and looked at as a strong competitor. You never want to be kicked off a show for being hated.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: You had wanted to be a fire fighter, how is that going?

A. Phil Hawk, Biggest Loser: Right now it's on the stand still. The department I want to get on only tests every couple of years. My name is on the list waiting for the test. There are some other opportunities out there, so I may go for different department, but I will remain the Columbus OH area,

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Are you keeping the weight off now that you have been off the show?

A. Phil Hawk, Biggest Loser: It's going very well for me. The first week or two were very hard since we got so used to working out for 6 7 hours per day. I wasn't even home for a day and I had to call Kim for help. I was getting scared. Kim said its OK you're back in real world and it's different. Since then, I got into a. schedule; I am in a new gym, and working with a trainer who is helping me out a great deal. Kim did a great job helping us transition from the show back to our normal lives

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Have you learned anything from watching the show that you were not aware of?

A. Phil Hawk, Biggest Loser: It's funny to see yourself on TV. It is like watching a home video or sitting in front of a mirror for five hours watching yourself. I saw facial expressions that I didn't know I made. I looked and said do I really look that way or make those facial expressions? It was interesting to see how the other cast discussed voting others out.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Lastly, there are many people who email our site asking how they can be part of the Biggest Loser. Many feel the show is the only way to lose weight. What would you recommend to people who want to lose weight?

A. Phil Hawk, Biggest Loser: The biggest thing people need to do is to make a commitment to themselves. If you need an extra push go get a fitness trainer or have someone you know help push you. There is strength in numbers. Even on the show we had bad days but there was always someone there to pick us up and get us back on our feet.
