The Duggar family is one baby bigger! Well, maybe the Dillard family is one baby bigger. Jill (Duggar) and her husband Derick Dillard welcomed their son they named Israel David Dillard on April 6th at 11:49p. Happy grandparents Jim Bob and Michelle said, "We are so thankful for a healthy Mom and baby!" on the Duggar family Facebook page. "Love this sweet baby Israel! We are happy grandparents and we promise more pictures soon!" Weighing in at 9 lbs, 10 oz Baby Dilly was born over his original due date. According to an interview Jill gave PEOPLE, "When everyone else is asking you, 'When are you going to have that baby?' The baby will come when the baby comes."

A student of midwifery Jill knew that first time moms sometimes go over their due dates so she was prepared for the lengthy journey. Derick even posted a photo of a very pregnant Jill at 41 weeks and 4 days along and announced on his blog that she was in the beginning stages of labor a week ago.

Jill and Derick announced their pregnancy two months after their massive wedding in Northern Arkansas but quickly stated, "Both of us want as many kids as God will give us." Which probably comes as no surprise. We'll see if fertility runs in the family and if the "I" names will be the new Duggar/Dillard theme.

According to PEOPLE.com the arrival of Israel will air on TLC on May 5th in advance of Mother's Day during a initiative titled "The Mother of All Weeks". Think Shark Week but TLC-style. The focus will be on Mom appreciation and will include two new series premiers with the introduction to baby Israel being the (two-hour) main event. Michelle Duggar will also be giving her expert advice.
