RHOA - Everyone Needs Therapy?

If reality shows had real music with lyrics playing in the background, the song playing during tonight's episode of RHOA would have been "Therapy" by Mary J. Blige. The entire cast was having issues, and if they weren't seeking therapy, then they sure needed it!

First, Kandi and Todd headed to therapy to work out some marital issues. That's not a really good sign considering they've only been married for 6 months. Newlyweds really shouldn't be in therapy, but then I guess we have to remember that Todd and Kandi aren't your typical freshly married couple. I mean, their marriage almost literally didn't happen and sure enough, in therapy, Todd brought up the cold manner in which Kandi dealt with the pre-nup issue in the days leading up to their wedding.  He said that basically showed him who she was when she approached him the way that she did. So then why marry her? I love Kandi and all, but her threats when he wouldn't sign the pre-nup and the mere existence of Mama Joyce are reason enough NOT to marry Kandi Burress! For some reason, he married her anyway, and now they're unhappy. Surprise, surprise. Hopefully the good doctor helps them out.

Cynthia has clearly had a DRASTIC personality change this season, and therefore, she needs to seek therapy. Immediately and ALONE. It's sadly clear that she's trying to keep herself relevant on the show and she doesn't care who she destroys in her wake. She may want to slow her roll though, because not only did Phaedra not appreciate the way she put her business on blast (which means she should watch her back) but it's causing people to examine her "happy home" more closely. You know that saying..people in glass houses? Well Cynthia lives in a glass house and she just threw a whole bucket of stones. Sure enough, Porsha made a comment about Peter "sleeping his way through Atlanta". Wait until Cynthia catches wind of that!

Besides being pissed at Cynthia, Phaedra was also annoyed at Kandi because she felt that Kandi didn't jump to her side quick enough after her confrontation with Cynthia and she accused her of acting just plain different in general. Nene, considering all the drama that's started since the beginning of the season taping, thought it would be a good idea for everyone to go to therapy. She enlisted the help of the same therapist that she used for Greg's children a few seasons ago, and signed everyone up! So next week the ladies head to therapy at Nene's insistence. What's hilarious about this whole scenario is that Nene created 80% of the drama that's going on! Her strategy is brilliant when you think about it. Create the drama, stay ahead of it, and then get credit for diffusing it! Stay tuned to see how the plan of Nene's beautiful mind unfolds.
