Match Made in Heaven - Garden of Eden

What happens when shows like The Bachelor refuse to cast men of color? Shows like "Match Made in Heaven" are created! Enter young millionaire Sean Bulllard, a real estate investor from Philadelphia who is looking to settle down, and 24 women, hoping to land him.

In a different twist on your traditional dating show, Sean has enlisted help from Pastor  Johnson, an NFL chaplain that works for the Indianapolis Colts. Johnson is a character, and almost seems like he's part man of God, part pimp. According to him, his job is not to tell Sean what to do, but rather to influence him but he does hold some weight on the show. When Sean eliminates the girls each week, he can use his pastor power to to save someone he feels may be right for him.

So now enter the girls, a very eclectic mix of women, all being crammed into the same mansion trying to convince Sean that they're the woman for him. Among the group are lesbian virgins (yes you heard me correctly) olympic track stars, hair dressers, a bartender, an author, and one stripper girl that can conform her body into a human pretzel.

After meeting all of the lovely candidates in a group, Sean had the opportunity to have a mini date with each of them alone. If 24 dates in such a short period of time wasn't crazy enough, the things that came out of those girls mouths certainly made it worse. One girl cried, another talked him to death about her uterus and STD's she may have contracted (I'm not making this stuff up) and another pretty much scared him into remembering her name. Out of all the girls, I think he had the strongest connections with Jade, Cristina, and Nes.

After his mini dates, Sean had to decide which girls were going to go home. One girl, the stripper girl, sent herself home. She kept denying that she was actually a stripper, but she was gyrating all over the floor, doing splits and that pretzel thing. She actually told one girl she was a stripper, but lied to all the rest and got mad and wounded when they figure it out. SMH!

Rather than tell the rest of the girls to their face, Sean gave each girl got a cell phone and they had to wait for their text message. The text either said "we're not a match" "please stay" or "we need to talk by the pool". The girls he wanted to talk to by the pool were possibly going to be going home, but he wanted to have one more conversation with them before doing so. Cristina, Kimberly, Dolly, and Anjelica all met him by the pool but for different reasons. He really connected with Cristina, but he saw her as friend potential. Kimberly, the rapper, he respected by he just didn't see himself with her. Dolly turned him off by talking about her uterus and he didn't see anything but a pretty face in Anjelica. In the end he chose to save uterus girl and Cristina.

Despite the impish antics from Pastor Johnson, this show seems to have pretty good reality show potential. Stay tuned as the ladies get to go on real dates with Sean and as the drama in the house heats up!!
