Just a week after Juelia opened her heart and shared her story of losing her husband, the father of her daughter, Chris Soules thought that sending her home was best to not waste her time. We had the chance to talk to Juelia after her elimination, and even get some tips on getting casted for The Bachelor.

RW: When you shared your story with Chris.  It seems kind of like a pivotal moment, can you tell us how that was for you?

Juelia: I would say that you seeing me share you know those feelings about what happened in my life with Chris, obviously you saw that it was an emotional thing or me to talk about.  But the fact of the matter is, I really have truly moved on with my life.  And that's one of the reasons why I decided to go on the show because I really am at a point where you know I'm just looking forward to the future and not so much at what happened.

But you know whenever I do talk about it, it's a difficult topic because what happened was really tragic.  But as far as feeling goes, I mean I would say that I already felt in a really good space before I went on the show.

RW: Have you been dating since you left the show?

Juelia: As far as dating goes, you know I am open to dating,  I haven't found anyone that you know I really want to spend a lot of my time with just because I'm definitely looking for the right person for my life.

RW: Can you tell us about your experience getting casted on the show? Would you have any advice or tips for people who want to be on The Bachelor?

Juelia: I guess I would just say just be as honest as you can.  And have fun with it and you know I knew that, I mean I didn't know what to expect at all, I've never done anything like this before.

But you know I just was really honest with everything that I said and all my answers.  And I was true to myself and you know it worked out, and it was a great experience, and I definitely think that it's not for everyone but I personally had a great time, and thinks that if that's something that people are considering doing I would definitely do it if they're doing it for the right reasons.  And just have fun.

RW: Was there anything about your experience that was really surprising or was way different than your expectations before you got on the show?

Juelia: You know I really didn't have any idea what to expect when doing something like this.  I just went on the show, just really excited to see if I had a connection with Chris, and I just, that was the only thing that I thought about really I guess.  And I had no idea what to expect.  I can say that I had an amazing experience and you know something, this is definitely a unique experience, something that I'll never forget.

So yes, like as far as expectations I really didn't have any.  So it was just a really good experience probably because I didn't think a lot about what was going to happen.

RW: Now that you've been introduced on the show and have had experience in this dating platform, would you consider going on a show like Bachelor in Paradise?

Juelia: Yes, I definitely would consider doing something else.  Just because you know the people that I've met are people that I'm going to know for the rest of my life, and it was just a really, really positive experience.  And so yes, I would definitely consider something.
