RHOA - All's Well That Ends Well?

When we left off last week, NeNe and Cynthia were in a war of words that seemed like it was never going to end.

Cynthia tried to break down why she stopped speaking to NeNe, but she just wasn't getting it. One minute NeNe was yelling about how she had been a good friend and always had her back and then the next Ms. Leakes was in tears! Yes you heard me, NeNe Leakes, tough girl extraordinaire starting crying over her friendship with Cynthia. Nene may be many things, but one thing that she is not, is fake. She has always maintained that she and Cynthia have a true friendship, on and off the set, so it makes sense why she got emotional.  I mean, which cast member is she going to replace Cynthia with? Kenya is bat shit crazy, she and Kandi are too much alike, Porsha is dumber than a pile of rocks, Phaedra is fake as all hell, and the new girl Claudia hasn't proven herself trustworthy. I would cry too!

Despite NeNe's tears, Cynthia told her that at some point there was a loss of respect and certain lines shouldn't be crossed. Translation? Don't call my husband a bitch again and we'll be all good. They hugged it out and agreed to move on, but something tells me the tension isn't really over yet. Cynthia was optimistic about their friendship in her confessional, truly believing they could past the matter but NeNe was still claiming that it will be difficult for them to get close again.

The difference in their attitudes became clearer when they both went home and talked to their husbands. NeNe talked more about the hard feelings she is clearly still harboring and how she wasn't sure she could still trust her but Cynthia was ecstatic when she told Peter the news about their rekindled friendship. Unfortunately, Peter wasn't in the mood to share in her joy. Cynthia may be able to forgive her friend for calling her husband names, but Peter certainly was not. He felt like Cynthia was letting her off scot-free for what she did. Cynthia previously talked about how much better her family life was now that she wasn't friends with NeNe anymore and Peter agreed. He wasn't ready to let go of all the good times yet, so don't expect to see any double dates in their near future!

As always with our ladies from the A, we jumped from one feud to the other! If you can recall from last season, Todd and Kandi's mothers don't get along - for several reasons. One is because Todd's mom doesn't like how Joyce treats her son, which is perfectly understandable. The other is because Joyce accused Todd's parents of being prostitutes. Well she said the father was her pimp, which is slightly better, LOLz. Kandi went to visit Todd's old home in NYC and they had lunch with his mother. Mama Tucker clearly wasn't anywhere near close to forgiving Joyce because she threatened to punch her in the face. We all know Joyce doesn't make any apologies about her crazy ass behavior - and Kandi doesn't require her to. Her famous words are "I understand what you're saying, but that's my mama" and that's about what she told Mama Joyce when she threatened to punch Joyce. "I don't want to be disrespectful to you, but I'm not going to allow that to happen." I've said it before and I'll say it again. Kandi better check her mother before she ends up old and alone, sitting in a corner rocking back and forth to herself singing "that's my mama" over and over.

Next week Phaedra gets real about what is going on between she and Apollo and even appears to breakdown a bit! Stay tuned!
