Tonight the couples are dancing styles and songs chosen by the viewers. Sending out their questions via social media, the contestants got their responses... everything from unicorns and romance were the suggestions from the fans. This week there is also a trio round where two pros and one celebrity dance together. For the first time, two females (one male pro and one female pro) will dance together with a female celebrity. The votes from last week combined with the judges scores determine who is dancing in next weeks semi-finals and the first couple announced to the semi-finals are ::SPOILER ALERT:: Tommy and Peta!

The semi-final couples are:

Tommy and Peta - Viennese Waltz - 29

Alfonso and Whitney - Fox Trot - 37

Bethany and Derek - Viennese Waltz - 36

Janel and Val - Quickstep - 38

The bottom couples are:

Lea and Artem - Samba - 34

Sadie and Mark - Jive - 33

Trio round:

Alfonso, Whitney and Lindsey - Paso Doble - 40 (Easily the best dance of the night)

Tommy, Peta and Sharna - Samba - 28

Lea, Artem and Henry - Paso Doble - 36

Bethany, Derek and Tony - Argentine Tango - 38

Sadie, Mark and Emma - Foxtrot - 40

Janel, Val and Keo - Salsa - 39

Eliminated the 9th week of competition is... ::SPOILER ALERT::...

Lea and Artem! The competition is just too intense now, mediocre just isn't going to cut it. With the exception of Tommy, everyone is absolutely amazing. Tommy has fans, though. If the other couples want to be on the same playing field, they're going to need America's votes.
