The Kardashians are back with another spinoff and the first episode was already packed full of the drama we have come to expect from the franchise. The show is based on the premise that Khloe, Scott, Kourt and their gaggle of kids (plus the one in the oven) are headed to the Hamptons for a little R&R and escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. And SURPRISE. They've opened up a DASH pop up store! Sounds great right? The only problem was that it seemed that Kourtney was the only one who actually wanted to be away from the city!

Just to catch you all up on what was going on with these three at the end of KUWTK: Khloe is dating struggle rapper French Montana and still struggling to let go of her marriage with Lamar. She's been doing a lot of partying, a sharp contrast from her sisters who are now both bogged down with men and children. Kourtney somehow managed to trick Scott into getting her pregnant again, so she's expecting baby number three. Scott is still reeling from the deaths of BOTH of his parents and seems to be lost, anxious, and a half step from going back to his old ways. So understandably, Kourt was the only one who wanted to bask in the Hamptons sun and play Croquet on the lawn all day. She was insistent that they all spend family time together and not venture into the terrible city.

Problem 1 - Khloe started feeling restless almost immediately and French was staying few hours away in New Jersey which meant she could escape any time she wanted to - or so she thought! Kourtney wasn't too pleased to find French in their house the first morning they were in the Hamptons and when Khloe announced that she was going to South Africa with him for a weekend to present at the MTV awards there and support his show closing performance, Kourt wasn't happy either. She was pissed that Khloe was trying to already escape their getaway, and punished her by not taking her calls all weekend.

Problem 2 - Scott was anxious about being in the Hamptons since it's where his parents lived. It was hard enough for him to want to be there because of that and then Kourtney mentioned that she wanted to take time out during the summer to clean out their house and have a realtor look at it. Clearly she was just trying to get things done, but it seemed a little insensitive towards Scott, who hasn't yet even accepted his parents' death. In typical Scott fashion, feeling confined, Scott began to lash out. He and Kourtney made an agreement that he wouldn't go out or do appearances in order to keep the peace in their family and to keep him in line. Instead of sticking to that promise, he decided to do an appearance, get wild, and stay out all night while Kourt was home with the kids.

A quick phone call to Kim inspired Kourtney to do something drastic to get Scott's attention. Kim reminded Kourtney that she's been doing the same thing for seven years and she never leaves him and nothing ever changes. So Kourtney told the security guard not to allow Scott's car on the property, the same as kicking him out. This scene reminded me of the time that Kourt kicked Scott out of their condo when she suspected him of cheating. And when she kicked him out of their hotel when Mason was still small because he was drinking heavily. Such a vicious cycle!

Since Scott left, this season is going to be very interesting. The previews show his partying and drunken behavior getting worse and even seem to indicate a trip to rehab! Stay tuned for this seemingly drama filled season!
