The show starts off with some big boo ha ha which I can't really understand, is it supposed to be reminiscent of college football? Is it because the school season has started already? Oh it was the USC Marching Band I guess. Bill Bellamy is wearing a very shiny suit. I'm not sure if it's silver or platinum or what, but whatever it is it seems like it should be in some kind of futuristic movie set and not Last Comic Standing. He starts talking about OJ and admits to having read it, which I refuse to do. He then gives all men in the audience advice for avoiding sexual advances in public restrooms.

We have a host of guest comedians most of which I don't know with the exception of Carrot Top. All previous contestants are in the audience, and we start with a Top 10 countdown of biggest laughs throughout the life of the show. After the break Bill Bellamy's shiny suit is back with a bunch of high schoolers. Are we actually going to get Jon and Lavell to do comedy tonight? Don't know, but for now Carrot Top's red head is on stage. He's apparently trying to do a crossover between comedy and magic, but it's so fast and furious I can't even laugh except at Barry Bond's baseball bat, his OJ robbery reference, and Nicole Richie's beach towel. Shiny suit is back on stage after C. Top. The judges come back to make fun of Ant and his "antics" (pun intended). My favorite part of that was the woman that called him a bitch, there probably have been no truer words spoken. After the break we get Lavell's roast with the LCS all-stars. Of course most of the jokes are about his weight, which is kinda sad and unfair. I mean, can't they find something else to poke fun at? But I did find the one about getting all the stages across America reinforced kinda funny. While it has always been kinda hard to understand Lavell as Doug Benson pointed out, Lavell was the funniest of the entire roast. He's the man! The picture of him in the middle of the fire flames was really disturbing, only because I can think of so many other people in the media right now who would fit the devil metaphor so much better, Britney and OJ included.

After the break we get some weird stint with puppets interviewing the two finalists. We get a recap of this season's challenges. Then we get all the eliminated Top 10 contestants doing the one liners. I think Debra, Ralph and Amy were probably the funniest of that bunch. I find out there's an LCS live tour across the US and since I'm going to the So You Think You Can Dance one I think I should give this one a try too.

We get Robert Shimel on stage who I never recall having seen in my life, so I'm probably not even spelling the name right but they don't spell his name for me. Towards the second half of his set when he started talking about roller coasters it got pretty funny.

Next up it's Jon's turn to get roasted, and I'm sure all these jokes will be about Hickory. The best part about the roast was the way that Jon sat there reacting to the jokes, and the comment about Jon feeding people about as much crap as the President. His joke about Alonzo being the horse's mouth was hilarious. While I liked Lavell rebutting the jokes that were made about him, Jon was really funny in going straight at attacking the roasters with his own jokes. So again in both instances the roastee was the funniest roaster.

Next we get a recap of Jon and Lavell's progression within the show, and you can definitely see why they're in the final. Yes we will hear them perform! What a treat these NBC people actually do know what they're doing, they're not just dragging a show for 2 hours unnecessarily. Oh wait, yes they are. The "sports commentator" talking about their strengths and weaknesses is hilarious. Not the way he delivers but what he's actually saying.

The stupid puppets are back and Bill is acting like he thinks it's funny. Then we get the personal/sappy background for Lavell, and he seems to be pretty confident that he will win this thing. Yes let's bring out the parents and make them cry, the reason why I'm watching this show is to LAUGH people! Stop it with the sappy stuff.

Lavell does his final performance. I think maybe he already used the seatbelt joke before, but the set was still pretty funny. Now back the stupid puppets with Jon, sappy life of Jon and sappy parent speak. I'm so glad towards the latter part of the show Jon stopped wearing plaid shirts. Sports commentator was just plain stupid this time. Let's hear Jon's final performance! The very beginning with the team mascots I know I heard before, but the middle part about the refs was way too funny. I couldn't stop laughing. The very end with the salt and pepper guy wasn't so funny though, but overall the set was great.

Dane Cook is next up on stage to plug his new movie with Jessica Alba Good Luck Chuck. Jon makes jokes with him about all the famous Jessica's and Lavell looks like who?!

Results please, it's been 2 hours already, and as much as I have enjoyed the dragging out of the results show I really do want to know who won. OMG I can't believe Jon won!! I feel so sad for Lavell, but both really deserved it. Congratulations Jon! I hope you both have a really successful career.
