Big Brother 16: Double Eviction Drama

Remember when I said that this might be one of the best episodes of the season? I will stand by my statement because this double eviction delivered the drama we have been waiting for since the premiere. Let the double eviction drama begin.

The hour of expecting the unexpected starts with the audience getting caught up. Late night Wednesday, the Detonators came to their senses and realized that getting rid of Zach would be getting rid of a number for them. So they made the decision to keep Zach and basically, ruin Hayden and Nicole's game. At this point, I'm happy that the plan is to keep Zach but I feel bad for Hayden's game going up in smoke. He was really about to have a nice thing going for him.

Time for the first live eviction of the night! By a vote of 6-2, Jocasta is evicted from the Big Brother house and becomes the first jury member! Mama J took it in stride while Hayden and Nicole were literally in shock. The entire house except for Donny had flipped against them in a matter of hours.

Now it's time for a whole week of competition in just about 30 minutes. The HOH comp is first and Julie informs the houseguest that the BOTB twist will be suspended but only for this hour. One HOH and one chance (POV) for the nominees to save themselves. Bring it, Julie. This HOH comp is "Mathcathalon" which is part memory, part math and the winner is a shocker. Caleb wins a mental comp and is now the HOH. He celebrates, like any Beast Mode Cowboy would, and I really need him to stop but he's just really happy so I'll let him have it.

Caleb chooses his nominees: Hayden and Donny. I'm going to fly a banner over the house that says "STOP PUTTING DONNY ON THE BLOCK". Caleb didn't have a lot of nominee choices anyway considering that most of the house is in an alliance but I was hoping for a miracle and a Frankie nomination.

Power of Veto comp and the players are Caleb, Donny, Zach, Christine, Hayden and Victoria. They have to retrieve three rubber ducks from a ball pit then grab the veto and buzz in. To be honest, I didn't pay attention to anyone else in this competition besides Donny. But I did notice Victoria not being to get over this hump thing in the course for a little bit. After screaming my lungs out and drying my tears, Donny emerges victorious.

Donny uses the POV to take himself off the block and Caleb puts Nicole on the block to sit next to her boyfriend. Nicole is so mad. It's that silent mad where she's not crying, saying anything or looking at anyone but plotting their collective demise at the same time. In their speeches, HayCole both decide to throw Frankie and Christine under the bus, which makes me happy. But either way, one of them will be going home leaving the other to be a target so it's not going to do them much good.

By a vote of 5-2, Hayden is evicted from the Big Brother house and the second member of jury! The shocker in that vote is that Derrick and Cody didn't vote together. Only Cody and Donny voted to evict Nicole. Is this a crack being formed between The Hitmen? Who knows but one thing is for sure: this season is only going to get better from here. The million alliances are turning against each other, lies are being exposed and Victoria is somehow still there.

Find out which houseguests will become the new Head of Households, Sunday at 8/7c on CBS.
