Not surprisingly, Kristin was still upset about their argument and Heather didn't have a care in the world. I wouldn't have really pegged Kristin to be the uptight one in a situation, but she certainly was here. While Heather was drinking and enjoying the trip, Kristin was acting wounded and looking like someone kicked her puppy.
Then at dinner, in a bold attempt to get her point across, Kristin crossed the line. She was trying to get Heather to own up to being bossy, and when she wouldn't, so she went for the jugular. She told Heather that she was controlling with her friends and at home, meaning with her husband Jonathan. Whoaa cowgirl, you don't talk about someone's husband!
True to her personality, Heather got real serious, real quick and advised Kristin to slow her role. Even the other ladies at the table told Kristin that you didn't talk about someone's marriage. Kristin has a bad habit on not letting things go, so she stood behind her word. Even Carol told Kristin that she needed to apologize to Heather after Kristin went looking for sympathy from her. She seemed shocked that Carol expected her to apologize, because in her mind she was right.
After Ramona tried to play peacemaker, Kristin pulled Heather aside and tried to patch things up. Unable to see why anyone thought her rude behavior was well rude, Kristin said that she didn't mean to make Heather feel the way she does, but she still thinks that she's bossy. And that Jonathan would agree with her on that. So basically she pulled a sorry, not sorry. Seeing that the discussion wasn't going anywhere, Heather squashed the whole thing and accepted Kristin's half-a**ed apology.
Now that the Montana trip comes to a close, next week the ladies go back home to Aviva! Stay tuned.
