Kandi's Wedding - Four Things We Learned During the Premiere

After the crazy season of RHOA where Mama Joyce did everything but murder Kandi's fiancé Todd, it was expected that there would be drama inserted in every moment of this wedding and the subsequent spinoff. Here are the four most important thing we learned from the first episode:

1. Todd is an Old Fashioned Groom

From the success of their play, it is clear that Kandi and Todd work well together, however, their wedding will not be a collaborative effort. Todd told Kandi he is more than willing to contribute to the wedding financially, but he didn't want to be responsible for more than showing up. That was just fine with Kandi, as long as he didn't try to take any credit for the planning process.

2. Mama's Joyce's Flock Changed Sides

The group of old lades who were previously clucking their tongues at Todd and Kandi's emending marriage have changed their tune. With one of the ladies declaring that she has "no idea" why she told Kandi not to get married, they now revealed that they just want Kandi to be happy. Now only if they can get Mama Joyce to get on board!

3. Don't Hire Your Friends as the Help

Carmon sure isn't as ride or die as she once seemed. During the last season of RHOA, it seemed like Carmon was the angel and Mama Joyce was the devil. Now I'm not saying that Carmon is sleeping with Todd like Mama Joyce says, (actually after this episode I'm pretty sure they aren't) but she isn't the great friend to Kandi she would like to believe she is.

Although Todd didn't want to have much to do with the wedding planning, he damn sure wasn't going to let people who are being paid to plan it do nothing! Todd walked into the house and found Carmon basically not doing anything for the wedding, whining about having time constraints that were too tight. Todd felt like she was being negative instead of productive, so they got into a little tiff. This argument caused Carmon not to call or talk to Kandi for three days. Three days! How do you not talk to your boss for three days? When she and Kandi finally spoke, they decided that it was best if they didn't work together anymore. Wow..

4. There is No Limit to the Things Mama Joyce Will Say

In probably the worst thing she's every done to Todd, Mama Joyce said that Todd's mother was a prostitute and his father was her pimp. Say whaaat? Even if it is true, you don't say things like that on national television. I know Kandi and Todd will be in wedded bliss before this airs, but I wonder what he's going to do when he finds out what he says.

It looks like there is plenty of drama on the road to Kandi and Todd's nuptials. Stay tuned!!
