Young ladies of the United States must be all-a-flutter about the upcoming series 'I Want to Marry "Harry"' because Fox has announced the show premier date has been moved up a week to Tuesday, May 20 at 9/8c. The Zig Zag Productions and Ryan Seacrest Productions reality dating experiment show says:

"On the series premier of I Wanna Marry "Harry", reality meets romance with a little twist, when 12 American women are flown to England to meet their "Prince Charming". What they don't know is that they'll be meeting Matthew Hicks, an average English "bloke" who bears a remarkable resemblance to Prince Harry. See what happens when these beautiful ladies see their "prince" for the first time at a "royal" masquerade ball and find out if they fall for the charade." - Fox Press Release

In an interview with Kathie Lee and Hoda Matthew reveals that he is naturally a blonde and his Harry-red hair is a (really good) dye job. But it works. I've seen other pictures of Mr. Hicks and although he is handsome, and maybe could pass as a brother or cousin of the Prince, I'm not sure if he's a dead ringer for the royal playboy. The real question is, how stupid are Americans? When it comes to love (and by "love" I mean lust) I can assume the young generation of America is probably not so cerebral.

In the sneak peek clip we see the staff and security detail refer to Matthew as "Sir", never by his name or "name" and the ladies are left to assume what they will. We also see a slew of desperate-seeming women who have never caught a glimpse of Kate Middleton and her manners. Yet they still are vying for the role of royal bachelor tamer.

You can meet the 12 contestants at fox.com and pick your winner before the show airs May 20th.
