The Voice top eight certainly proved why they deserve to be there tonight. But before we get to that... Adam's hair - Yikes! Platinum blonde is definitely not for him. If he wanted to be Billy Idol for Halloween this hair would be perfect. Right now, it's just hindering his good looks. Blake made countless jokes, even calling him Miley Cyrus, which I thought was pretty funny because he certainly fit the description tonight. Go back to your roots, Adam, please!

Sisaundra finally performed a Tina Turner song, "River Deep Mountain High" and she killed it. She truly has star quality. My only wish is that she moved around a bit more on stage.

Next was good old Josh, singing " I Can't Make You Love Me". I love this song! It's so emotional, and I'm sure Josh touched every audience member with his performance. I noticed that Josh is looking more and more like a celebrity each and every week. That might be an indication of his future.

After the commercial break, Blake and singer Gwen Sebastian hit the stage to perform their new song "My Eyes". Personally, I don't care for country music but the song was pretty laid back with a nice hook.

Before I go on, let me mention that next season, The Voice is replacing Shakira and Usher with Gwen Stefani and Pharrell. Awesome decision!

With that being said, rocker Kat Perkins performed her version of Pharrell's hit "Get Lucky." She really worked the stage with lots of movement and still maintained her amazing vocals.

Shakira's only artist, Kristen went next. She performed a song called "I'll Drive Your Truck". As I said earlier, I'm not the biggest fan of country music, so upon hearing the title of this song, I became bias. However, Kristen is a great singer and still delivered a successful performance, which even I could not deny.

The following performance was from an artist most of us know and love, next season's coach Pharrell! He performed his new joint "Come Get It" which you may recognize from the Red Bull commercial.

Back to our top eight: Team Adam's soul singer Delvin moved us with his cover to "I Believe I Can Fly." It was a touching performance and we even got some tears out of Delvin by the end. Only two singers left tonight.

Audra, who I usually love sang a song called "Forgive." For some reason I just didn't connect with her tonight. Don't get me wrong, she was amazing as always, but I felt that I couldn't really make out the words she was singing. To me the performance was just a lot of belted notes and mumbled sounds. Even so, I still hopes she keeps a spot on the show. She's a really great singer.

On a brighter note, Gwen Stefani came out to perform her hit single "Hollarback Girl," and yes, Gwens has still got it! Her act had the audience jamming and she looked great!

After that, more country music. Jake Worthington was next with the song "Hillbillies Deluxe." During this performance, I along with Shakira, noticed that Jake had a new swag about him. The way he moved across the stage was very cool and confident. I like it!

Closing the show was Christina Grimi with her rendition of Lil Wayne's "How To Love." Yes she put on a good vocal performance as usual but I have to play devil's advocate a little here. Is anyone else tired of people taking Rap songs and singing them in a different way in order to gain cool points? Last week Christina sang Drake, and I understand she wants to keep the momentum going but let's not overdo it. Adam was in love with the performance, and said that she was the only one who has performed that song in the way she did. This is not true. You can go on YouTube right now and find plenty of other girls just like her singing this exact song in a similar style. I don't know, that kind of bothers me. Remember to cast your vote for tomorrow's elimination rounds (i.e. pick Josh and Sisuandra).
