Twenty-two year old, Majesty Rose was eliminated on Thursday night and will not be the next American Idol. She seemed to sail through the audition rounds, but found herself at the bottom of the group in the live performances. Her journey doesn't stop there, as she'll be joining the rest of the top 10 on the American Idol tour this summer.
When Ryan Seacrest announced Majesty's name to sing for the save, she said, "I knew it!" When asked why, she tells Reality Wanted, "I was surprised to be eliminated. I wasn't surprised that I would sing for the save. For some reason, I just kinda had a feeling."
Majesty sang her final performance with confidence and really connected with the crowd. She tells us, "I just had to be grateful for how far I already made it, and I wasn't even thinking about the judges or if they were gonna save me or not."
Reflecting on her overall experience with American Idol, Majesty says, "I just want to leave a good mark in my culture and my world ... I really do feel like I did that," adding, "I stayed true to myself and I'm really proud of myself for persevering."
For now, Majesty is looking forward to her upcoming tour with her Idol "family," and persuing her career a career in singing, Broadway, and maybe even acting.
American Idol air on Wednesdays and Thursdays on Fox.
