The Real Housewives Of Atlanta Season 6: Episode 11 - Porsha

by Jessica Blackwell

After Chuck burned Phaedra with his groupie comments, she ran straight to Kandi to tell her what he said. Kandi was a bit shocked to find out that Phaedra and NeNe even took a trip to Athens together, and was ever more surprised to hear what Chuck said. Both ladies agreed that the man who called himself the "big homie" is actually the "little" homie if you catch my drift. Phaedra actually went so far as to compare his um, man parts to a cocktail frank and called him a light skinned Frankenstein. I'm guessing he's lying because of his wife, because who wouldn't want to say that that they were formally linked to such successful, beautiful black women?

I have never been a Kenya fan because I think she's crazier than a barrel of cats. With that being said, I also feel really bad for her at times. This episode, we were reminded that she is a product of very young teenage parents and not only did her mother reject her, but her father is far from a loving parental figure as well. He came to visit Kenya for the first time since she moved to the A and from the time he sat in her car, all he did was insult her. From her toes to her decorating skills, he went in. When she tried to have a heart to heart with him about her mother, he shut her down and told her to forget the entire situation. It's really hard to move on before you resolve your past. Poor Kenya, hopefully she gets the situation under control so she can move on with her life.

For some reason, Porsha did not want to let NeNe know that she moved into her neighborhood. She swore that she wanted to surprise her by walking over and asking for a cup of sugar and that sounds like a cute surprise but you do that a day or so after moving in!  She had Phaedra and Kandi over her house, that has no furniture, might I add, but didn't let NeNe know. I hope she's got the money to pay for this house on her own because a Kordell reconciliation is out of the question. After she initiated a text conversation on the Savannah trip, Kordell told her that she could come home now, or fend for herself. It's not just her family that is concerned about cash flow, Phaedra and Kandi also knew she couldn't afford the house she was living in. With Kordell fighting her on the amount of their divorce settlement, hopefully she gets the money she needs to live.

Thanks to Kenya, NeNe found out that Porsha moved before she got a chance to bring over that cup of sugar. At the trunk show that Cynthia arranged for her sister Mal, Kenya was hating all over Porsha. I don't know what pisses her off more, that Porsha has actually been married and she hasn't, or that she's struggling with her divorce. Either way, Kenya took it upon herself to tell NeNe where Porsha lives, and NeNe flipped out and called Porsha a bad friend. She claimed that she only calls people when she needs something and she's never there for anyone else. Whether thats true or not, Porsha is going through a tough time and probably can't be there for anyone but herself right now. Kenya was so pissed that Porsha got emotional after NeNe's confrontation that she twirled right out of that trunk show and almost got hit by a car. SMH!

Next week, Kenya announces that she's going to have a baby, and Todd begins to look really shady. Maybe Mama Joyce was right? Stay tuned!
