For a guy who had very little screen time, he certainly had a huge impact on fans. Last night, on the After The Final Rose episode of The Bachelorette, host Chris Harrison announced that the newest Bachelor would be Juan Pablo Galavis. The former professional soccer player caught Desiree's eye this past season, but she ultimately never saw a serious future with him. Her loss is now America's gain, as he's about to get his shot at finding love in 2014.

Juan Pablo revealed to Chris Harrison on the live special last night that he's not only looking for someone to share his life with, but someone to be a wonderful stepmom to his 4 year old daughter Camila as well. The decision to become the newest Bachelor wasn't an easy one, and Juan Pablo said that he spent time talking to his friends, family, daughter, and his daughter's mother as well.

It was apparent on The Men Tell All episode that aired on ABC a few weeks back that women everywhere were smitten with the 32 year old from Miami. The accent, the looks, the devotion to his daughter, the athleticism, the ability to salsa(!)... Juan Pablo seems like he has it all.

The Bachelor begins airing January of 2014 on ABC.
