When Kaitlin was evicted on Thursday night's episode of Big Brother, she admitted that she chose the wrong side of the house to align with. Not only was she good at challenges, she started a romance with one of the biggest physical threats in the house, and became besties with the most hated player in the game. After she was sent packing with a 9-0 vote, we chatted with Kaitlin about her true feelings for Jeremy, if she'll be friends with Aaryn outside of this game, and her big move to Vegas.

 

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You've said that you felt you chose the wrong side of the Big Brother house this season, but did you feel there was a real shot to work with the other group in the first few weeks?
A. Kaitlin: At one point, I did. If I never associated with Aaryn, I think I would've been sitting much prettier. I definitely would've worked with Andy, Helen, and Elissa.

 

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Obviously it was seen on the feeds but on the tv episodes, it didn't show that you and Andy were so close. Tell us about your friendship in the house.
A. Kaitlin: I love him! I connected with him on day one. We had a lot of laughs, and we cried together too. He lied to me the first two evictions so we went through some things but we worked it out. I really thought he had my back. The fact that he voted against me really hurt. I'll get over it, it's a game.

 

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: When we talked to Jeremy, he seemed like he was really ready to see you out of the house but you didn't seem so enthused when Julie was asking you about him.
A. Kaitlin: I think, when I got evicted, I was a little salty and in a negative way. I didn't mean to dismiss him like that. We definitely had a strong connection and he was my companion. We just live in different states.

 

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You looked pretty taken aback when Julie said the fans were referring to you as one of the Mean Girls. What was going through your mind?
A. Kaitlin: I mean, it sucks, because I was very kind to everyone in the house. Even when Aaryn was bashing other people, I stuck up for them. It hurts but I know I'm guilty by association.

 

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Do you feel that you will be friends with Gina Marie and Aaryn outside of the game?
A. Kaitlin: Gina Marie more than Aaryn. I think Aaryn has a lot of growing up to do. I don't think she knows her place in this world yet. She's said some inappropriate things that brought people down, but I want to be friends with everyone, especially through social media. It's a strong bond that you form with these people.

 

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: We saw at the end of Thursday night's episode that Aaryn won HOH. If you were her, who would you nominate?
A. Kaitlin: I would say Amanda and McCrae, but I know Amanda and Aaryn are very close. I don't know how this game is about to turn out.

 

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Who is playing the best game right now?
A. Kaitlin: I would say Helen and McCrae.

 

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Now that you've left Big Brother, what are your plans?
A. Kaitlin: I'm actually moving from Minnesota from Vegas to spend more time with my dad. I'll probably work out there in the bars. I'm excited. It's definitely a transition from Minnesota to Vegas. We'll see. Hopefully, I can keep it together!
