Early this morning, nominations were announced for the 2013 Emmy Awards. Among the categories were those honoring reality television, including Outstanding Reality Show Host and Outstanding Reality Competition. However, the genre was also recognized in the choreography and lighting for a variety series categories as well.
Noticeably missing from the host category were Survivor's Jeff Probst and The Amazing Race's Phil Keoghan. FOX's American Idol and The X Factor were also left out of the competition category, but The Voice was not so unlucky, earning a nomination! Here's a look at the nominees:

Cat Deeley released a statement following the announcement, saying, "I am so honored and excited to be recognized amongst such an incredibly talented group of hosts. It's such a thrill to have the collective efforts of everyone who works so hard on SYTYCD also be recognized by the Television Academy. Great morning!"
Heidi Klum, meanwhile, took to Twitter to share her excitement, writing, "I'm so honored by Project Runway's Emmy nomination. GO TEAM!!" Tom Bergeron got in on the action as well, posing, "Congrats to the @DancingABC gang on another @PrimetimeEmmys nomination! See you all soon!"
The 65th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards will air September 22nd on CBS.
